  9.             We finally were able to localize the 
  10.             transporter beam and trace it back 
  11.             to this location.

  13.                     SISKO
  14.             These quarters have been vacant for 
  15.             weeks.

  17.                     ODO
  18.             Somehow, they overrode the security 
  19.             lock on the door to gain access.
  20.  
  21.                     SISKO
  22.             So what did they do... bring in a 
  23.             portable transporter and beam the 
  24.             surveillance equipment into the 
  25.             bulkhead?

  27.                     ODO
  28.             That was my first thought.  Then I 
  29.             realized a portable transporter is a 
  30.             rather large and bulky piece of 
  31.             equipment to be carrying around the 
  32.             halls.

  35.             That's true.

  37.     Odo moves to the replicator.

  40.             So then I began thinking about the 
  41.             replicator.

  43.     Odo opens a small panel on the wall near the replicator, 
  44.     revealing a maze of crossed circuitry and equipment that 
  45.     does not look like it belongs there.  Sisko peers at it.

  48.             They realigned the matter-energy 
  49.             conversion matrix.
  50.  
  51.                     ODO
  52.             Turning it into a small transporter.  
  53.             A very sophisticated, very 
  54.             professional job.
