  9.             The Romulans want to debrief everyone 
  10.             who was on the Defiant when it was 
  11.             captured by the Founders.  They're 
  12.             also still not happy with the sensor 
  13.             information collected by the Defiant.  
  14.             So they want unrestricted access to 
  15.             the Defiant.  And they want complete 
  16.             access to all our personal logs.
  17.  
  18.                     SISKO
  19.             Personal logs are out of the question.  
  20.             But they can have limited access to 
  21.             the Defiant, and I'll let them debrief 
  22.             us as well.

  24.     Kira looks obviously unhappy at this, and Sisko stops for a 
  25.     moment.
  26.  
  27.                     SISKO
  28.                 (continuing)
  29.             I know they're pushing us, Major.  
  30.             But consider their position.  No 
  31.             Romulan ships have ever been into 
  32.             the Gamma Quadrant, much less 
  33.             encountered the Dominion.  So they're 
  34.             completely dependent on us for 
  35.             information.

  37.                     KIRA
  38.             Then maybe they should send their 
  39.             own ships through the wormhole and 
  40.             find out for themselves...

  42.                     SISKO
  43.             The Romulans generally prefer to sit 
  44.             back and pull the strings from a 
  45.             distance if they can.
  46.  
  47.     They continue walking.

  49.                     KIRA
  50.             Well this is one puppet who doesn't 
  51.             like her strings pulled.

  53.                     SISKO
  54.             I know.  But like Ruwon said, they've 
  55.             lived up to their end of the bargain.  
  56.             And we have to do everything we can 
  57.             to live up to ours.
  58.
