  11.     Odo slumps back in his chair, defeated.

  15. 27   INT. CAVERN CORRIDOR
  16.  
  17.     Odo's on his way to rejoin when he hears the SOUND of phaser 
  18.     fire.  He rushes down the corridor.
  19.  
  20. 28   INT. CAVERN CHAMBER
  21.  
  22.     Odo rushes into the central chamber to find Kira, safe and 
  23.     sound, but with both legs entirely covered in crystal.
  24.  
  25.                     ODO
  26.                 (relieved)
  27.             Kira... I heard phaser fire.
  28.  
  29.                     KIRA
  30.             You just missed our friend.  He came 
  31.             out of that tunnel.
  32.                 (she points)
  33.             I think he was as surprised as I 
  34.             was.  He fired at me from over there, 
  35.             but when I shot back he ran off down 
  36.             the tunnel.
