  7. 34   INT. DEFIANT - KIRA'S QUARTERS

  9.     Riker is looking over what's left of the replicator and the 
  10.     bulkhead in Kira's Quarters.  A large section of the bulkhead 
  11.     has been blown out, leaving a scorched and charred gaping 
  12.     hole.  There are a few scorch marks in the rest of the room.  
  13.     Kira is sitting on the lower bunkbed, having her arm and 
  14.     shoulder treated by Tamal, who is using a medical device to 
  15.     heal her own burns.
  16.  
  17.                     RIKER
  18.                 (re: bulkhead)
  19.             You crossed the replicator power 
  20.             converter with the plasma manifold, 
  21.             I take it?
  22.  
  23.                     KIRA
  24.                 (wincing)
  25.             That's right.
  26.  
  27.                     RIKER
  28.             Nice work.
  29.                 (turns to her)
  30.             You realize we'll have this bypassed 
  31.             in thirty minutes.
  32.  
  33.                     KIRA
  34.             At least you'll be visible for thirty 
  35.             minutes.

  37.                     RIKER
  38.             Fortunately, I was able to move us 
  39.             into a nebula.  No one's going to 
  40.             see us.

  42.     Tamal finishes and Kira flexes her arm cautiously.

  44.                     KIRA
  45.                 (to Tamal)
  46.             Thanks.
  47.  
  48.     Riker nods to Tamal, who then EXITS.

  50.                     RIKER
  51.             You're lucky you only got a little 
  52.             singed.  That whole plasma relay 
  53.             could've exploded.
