  6.     Quark, wearing the formal robes seen earlier, is addressing 
  7.     Gowron and the assembled Council.  D'Ghor is standing nearby, 
  8.     watching the proceedings with a glare.  Quark is taking the 
  9.     Council step by step through the financial maze... each of 
  10.     the Council members is following Quark's presentation on a 
  11.     PADD of their own... although they occasionally have to look 
  12.     over each other's shoulder as he takes them through a complex 
  13.     transaction.  Quark is completely in his element here... 
  14.     utterly confident now that he's dealing with things he 
  15.     understands.  Grilka is standing behind Quark and there are 
  16.     a couple of N.D. Klingons watching the proceedings.

  19.                 (referring to PADD)
  20.             ... so as you can see from the gross 
  21.             adjusted assets tabulation in column 
  22.             J, the net value of the land 
  23.             acquisition was actually zero.
  24.                 (picks up another 
  25.                 PADD)
  26.             Now, if you'll go to the file marked 
  27.             "Devaluation of Capital Income," we 
  28.             can review the way D'Ghor has --

  30.     Gowron finally throws the PADD down in disgust.

  32.                     GOWRON
  33.             Enough!  I don't want to hear anything 
  34.             more about... finances, mergers, or 
  35.             currency transactions.

  37.     Gowron stands and moves closer to D'Ghor.
  38.  
  39.                     GOWRON
  40.             The charge has been made that you 
  41.             have used...
  42.                 (with distaste)
  43.             ... money to bring down a great 
  44.             House.  What do you say to this, 
  45.             D'Ghor?

  48.             I say he is a liar... that he has 
  49.             smeared my name... and I demand 
  50.             vengeance through personal combat.
