  13.             It should be simple... but it's

  17.                 (letting out some 
  18.                 tension)
  19.             Doctor, start the sequence... or 
  20.             we will be here a month.

  23.             Right, Chief.
  24.                 (announcing)
  25.             I'm introducing the Harvesters into 
  26.             the genetic bath...

  28. 3    CLOSE ON GENETIC BATH

  30.     The orange Harvester canister is lowered into the bath.

  32.                     BASHIR (V.O.)
  33.             Beginning muon influx now...
  34.  
  35.     BLUE MUON RAYS begin crackling throughout the genetic bath... 
  36.     after a long beat, the canister rises back up.  The gel inside 
  37.     has been changed from a fiery orange to a placid green.

  39. 4    RESUME SCENE

  41.     Bashir and the others are quietly stunned.

  44.                 (softly; to Nydrom)
  45.             Doctor, would you please check for 
  46.             any gene-disrupter phasing...

  48.     Nydrom moves back to the circuit control station, checks the 
  49.     readings.

  51.                     NYDROM
  52.             The genetic integrity of the sample 
  53.             is holding steady.  I'm not reading 
  54.             any genetic disruption at all.
