  18.     beat, presses a panel... and the forcefield disappears... 
  19.     and the green light swirls out and envelops her... and when 
  20.     it disappears she is no longer in the laboratory but in...

  26.     Dax is on an operating table, dressed in a hospital gown, 
  27.     reacts to the sudden change.  She tries to get her bearings. 
  28.     Beside her on another table is a very old man (CURZON) who 
  29.     is dying...

  33.                 surprised)

  36.     The old man reaches out a frail hand and take her hand 
  37.     and squeezes it, smiles weakly at her...  in the 
  38.     background, we can see glimpses of people standing 
  39.     (no faces) as though some kind of ceremony is taking 
  40.     place...

  44.     to see the old man's table in the background of Dax's table... 
  45.     as a dripping wet worm-like symbiont is guided by a pair of 
  46.     hands out of an orifice in the general area of the human 
  47.     navel... and as the hands lift it, another pair of hands 
  48.     uses ritual gold surgical scissors to clip an umbilical 
  49.     connection to the old man...
