  9.     Establishing.  The Enterprise is still docked.

  11. 66   INT. SISKO'S QUARTERS

  13.     Dark as he ENTERS... he moves through the first room without 
  14.     turning on the lights into...
  15.  
  16. 67   JAKE'S ROOM
  17.  
  18.     where the boy is asleep in his clothes on the floor on the 
  19.     cushion, looking uncomfortable... we might see some 24th 
  20.     century teenage paraphernalia to establish that the kid has 
  21.     had something to do in his room all this time... Sisko looks 
  22.     down at him and grins, kneels to pull a blanket over him... 
  23.     finds that he has to remove a catcher's glove containing a 
  24.     baseball from the boy's hand... Sisko studies the boy's 
  25.     face...  after a beat, the boy's sleepy eyes open and see 
  26.     his father looking down at him...
  27.  
  28.                     JAKE
  29.                 (sleepy)
  30.             What?
  31.  
  32.                     SISKO
  33.                 (softly)
  34.             I was just thinking how much you 
  35.             look like your mom.
  36.  
  37.     The boy smiles in his sleep and Sisko strokes his hair once 
  38.     and stands... and as he puts down the glove and baseball on 
  39.     a table and... moves out of the room...
  40.  
  41.                     KIRA'S COM VOICE
  42.             Kira to Sisko...
  43.  
  44.     Sisko closes the door behind him before responding...
  45.  
  46.                     SISKO
  47.             Go ahead, Major.
  48.  
  49.                     KIRA'S COM VOICE
  50.             Sorry to disturb you, Commander.
  51.             But there's something on the 
  52.             Promenade you might want to see.
