- - colouring a few text passages
- - writing the regulars and shit
-
- - missing - all musix!
- - missing - all grafix!
- - missing - intro!
-
- - musix/grafix - (deadline: 15.3)
- - articles/intros - (deadline: 2o.o3)
-
- Currently about 40 articles are fully written, a few more by Moondog are still
- in the pipeline (if he completes all he has laying around, at least 1o - 15
- more to count)...
-
- Chosneck grew up on UCM's roots... So we would like to ask you for any kind of
- support for Moondog and his forthcoming babe! Is there anything on the list
- above you could help with?

- [ NEW X-ELLENT YM BUZZER ON DA WAY! ] date: 14.02.2004
-
- SIDsound Designer is in trouble! Is it possible?! Yup! Believe it or not but it
- seems that this pretty famous granny of a YM tracker is gonna get a sudden
- death-kiss at the forthcoming OutLine 2k+4 party! Damo, one of the real pearls
- found out by RG bros is busy working on his newest babe, called...
-
- triplex 2k4
- breakin' the SIDsound designer monopoly!
-
- Face the facts about Triplex 2k+4 - what's it gonna be?
-
- - an update of big alecs' classic tracker
- - main updates are to gui functionality.. pattern scrolling, correct
- monitoring, advanced editing features, keyboard shortcuts
- - 'new' sid effects.. incorporated so far - sid morph, softsid.. still to be
- implemented - sync buzzer, ste dma sound, sinus sid (maybe!)
- - ability to save .sndh files direct from tracker
- - still the simple easy to use interface
- - currently being betatested by top musicians in the scene
- - the whole point of triplex is that its really easy to use.. not as cluttered
- as most others
-
- What can I add more?!
-
- GOOD LUCK with this promising project, Damo! Break da boring SSD monopoly! =)

- [ END OF THE LEGEND ] date: 10.02.2004
-
- The last big paper magazine dedicated to Atari fans ended it's activities
- after 17 years (!) of existence. It's "ST Computer", the German magazine which
- survived so many years amongst this fuckin' mainstream surround...
-
- STC survived these good and bad times for the atari community. Now, the end of
- STC means the end of the remnants of a great ST success in Germany. Various
- editors tried many ways to keep the mag alive as long as possible and this
- succeded 'til last year!
-
- Editing a magazine like STC, dedicated to Atari users, wasn't the easiest thing
- for sure. And not only due to the shrinking ranks of atarians but rather a lack
- of THINGS to write about. From this point of view they did something
- unbelievable! I am full of respect for keepin' the mag alive so long under
- these difficult circumstances!
-
- Oh, I hear some harsh voices loudly splashed out from various throats such as:
- "STC suxx! This mag was far from perfect! Forget it!". Well, ok, editors like
- Ali Goukassian didn't show too much enthusiasm for doing it, that's right. He
- made various mistakes such as creating a cheap "propaganda tube" of FALKE
- VERLAG products on STC pages. Not to mention these boring Mac adverts we found
- again and again...
-
- I've heard many rumours about the latest STC editors (including Thomas Raukamp)
- and most of them were far from being positive... Surely some of them were not
- groundless, I even had first-hand experience when I tried to get in touch with
- Thomas Raukamp... I was going to ask him for some words concerning the STC
- situation and conduct an interview specially for Chosneck readers - I didn't
- get a single reply, even with help of RafalK who was writing for this mag for
- many years...
-
- But still, I can't understand some guys from Germany who were only throwing
- sh*t on that magazine. Even more - sometimes I had a felling that some ppl were
- *BUSILY AWAITING* the death of STC... :(
-
- Whatever you thought about this mag, you can't forget one thing - thanx to such
- men as Thomas Raukamp, STC survived until the year 2003! The mag which was
- dedicated to ATARI users in times of a PC flood... that was amazing, don't ya
- think?
-
- Maximum respect for You, Thomas! It's just so sad that you didn't find some
- time to say "GOOD BYE" in Chosneck's pages...
-
-
- DON'T FORGET TO TAKE A LOOK AT THOMAS' WWW-SITE!
-
- - ---> thomas.atari.org <--- -
-
- It still features a lot of interesting gossips from atari world!
-
-
- [ CRASH AND BORN! ] date: 12.02.2004
-
- Just after the sad crash of STC some happier news came up from Chirac's planet!
- It looks like some guys from France want to fill the vacuum after the death
- of STC! :) "ST Magazine" (the twin-brother of "STC" in that country) the mag
- that was suddenly resurrected back in 2001 has now gone... ENGLISH! =) Yeah!
- Thanx to such a brave step "ST Magazine" has a *SERIOUS* chance of being the
- biggest Atari paper publication, so... DON'T LOSE IT, guyz!
-
- Here comes a short story found out at the official "STM" www-site:
-
- "ST Magazine was the most famous French magazine dedicated to the world of
- Atari and Tos. It stopped being published at the end of 1998. Since then, some
- fanzines have taken over but they have also had to renounce. The French-
- speaking Atarists had to wait until September 2001 to be able to read about
- their favourite universe.
-
- G. de M., the former editor of St Magazine, had always read AtTOS with interest
- until it suddenly became obvious to him: It was pointless to try restarting
- Stmag because it was there in front of his eyes! That's how AtTOS changed its
- name into ST magazine, new generation. Obviously things have changed, STmag
- will not be on sale at newsstands, but only on mail order; the magazine will
- not be offset printed any more but in a more amateur way. Yet, there is still
- colour, and we do our best to offer an interesting, rich and pleasant magazine.
-
- STM issue 132 is the first issue we publish both in French and English. This
- English version is like a test for us. We had been thinking about it for some
- time, and we got some requests for it: that is why we have made up our mind to
- do it. We have translated our articles as well as we could, but we cannot be
- 100 % certain that we have not let some mistakes get through.
-
- Please, feel free to tell us when you notice some big blunder: it will help us
- to improve".
-
- Would You like to order the "STM"? You just have to send 5 EUR, carriage paid.
-
-
- Send your order to:
-
- Cyril DENIS
- 8, Boulevard Louis Lumiere
- 42000 SAINT-ETIENNE

-
-
- THANX FOR PUTTIN' SOME LIFE INTO THAT PART OF ATARI WORLD, CYRIL!
-
- WE CROSS OUR FINGERS FOR SUCCESS OF THE ENGLISH VERSION OF "ST MAGAZINE"!

-
- [ CZUBA IN TROUBLE? ] date: 10.02.2004
-
- Who doesn't know that French guy? Rodolphe Czuba, one of the last hardware
- warriors supporting Atari Falcon to this day, became brutally CHEATED! Some
- dirty cocks from VERNAL ELM accepted an order to supply him with 060 chips,
- collected a considerable amount of cash and... stuck out their arse! Yeah, a
- knife opens in da pocket when I think about these VERNAL ELM bastards living
- there in USA... :(
-
- Maybe I am a dreamer, but I would like to believe that Rodolphe won't leave us!
- That would surely be a big LOSS for every Falcon owner. His merits for
- expanding this hardware are pretty big - thanx to such add-ons as CenTurbo I &
- CenTurbo II, our Falcons flew higher and higher! With CT060, the Falcon became
- armed with new heavy wings... and now someone tries to cut 'em... :/ I find no
- words...
-
- ANYWAY - THANX FOR ALL WHAT YOU DID FOR US, RODOLPHE.
-
- May Your passion to fuji machines win with all this shit :(
-
-
- [ PIETER VAN DER SHOCKER ] date: 05.02.2004
-
- Good Lord! Have Ya seen da latest Ear_X babe?! I just can't believe how FAST
- this guy is learning DSP coding! His latest "Out" demo is ground-breaking,
- I find no words to express my impressions! All 3D and 2D effx feature neat
- textures and run so fuckin' fast and smooth even on a std 4mb Falcon! Real
- SHOCKER.
-
- If You haven't seen it yet - what are Ya waiting 4?! Press ESC to leave the mag
- and download it to feel da Ear_X power ! =) It's just a *SIN* to not see it!
-
-
- [ SYNTAX COMING OUT FROM THE UNDERGROUND? ] date: 25.01.2004
-
- Yeah! One of the most respected ST bands from Poland knock on fujiland's door
- after a few years of total silence! Klocek left the army last year, threw off
- his soldier clothes, closed the tank's hatch and loudly screamed "f*ck da army!
- ST scene, ich come! ICH COME!!!". He needed a couple of days to find himself in
- a new reality... and finally it HAPPENED! The ST landed back on his desk, dug
- out from the closet (to avoid contact with his younger sister's "hand-
- destroyer" system).
-
- Syntax goes pink! Klocek brought new weapon to the Syntax ranks with quite
- awesome calibre - a sweet 20 springs old blond-babe... :) Her nickname is
- Egaheer and she is responsible for gfx bits and translating txts into English!
- This girl is tolerant enough to accept Klocek perverts and she isn't jealous
- that he divides his fascinations between her and granny MegaST... even more -
- she support him as much as possible! (first effects should be noticeable in the
- newest "UvsS" magazine!).
-
- Well... Welcome to Atari's heaven, babe! =)
-
- FIND AN INTERVIEW WITH KLOCEK SOMEWHERE IN THE MAG!
-
-
- [ BACK TO 8-BIT ROOTS! ] date: 20.01.2004
-
- Zelax, old scene-veterans from Poland, is back to 8-bit Atari business! Yeah,
- this legendary demo-crew responsible for such sweeties as "Ray of Hope" and
- "Endless Dream" in the middle of the 90s, announced their comeback with a new
- release prepared especially for QuaST Party this summer! :)
-
- If you liked their previous stuff released for 8-bit Atari, then their new demo
- is definitely WORTH waiting 4!
-
- Nice to see ya back to 8-bit roots, fellowz! Amiga was a bit boring, huh? ;)
-
-
- [ DYNABLASTER HITS 8-BIT BACKYARD! ] date: 17.01.2004
-
- One of the most famous games known from it's bigger brothers goes to 8-bit
- Atari! TeBe, Vidol and Pinokio (polish sceners) are doing their best to finish
- this fuckin' nice title on their beloved system. The game should contain
- "Battle mode" and will feature incredibly colourful graphics (made in "G2F"
- format with the help of Vidol).
-
- Yeah! Nice to see so many actions on 8-bit backyard!
-
-
- [ CLOSE UP DA RANKS, POKEY SQUEEZERS! ] date: 15.01.2004
-
- Another edition of the famous "Grayscale" compo dedicated to pokey musicians
- is in the pipeline! X-Ray and Greg plan to organize it in March or April, but
- the date and general rules known from previous edition could change. Anyway,
- it's sure that this competition *WILL* HAPPEN! So get Your 8-bit machines and
- squeeze da pokeyz to dig out some new cute melodies, guyz!
-
- More infos about "Grayscale" project You can find at:
-
- -- -> grayscale.scene.pl <- --
-
-
- [ WOT WOULD YA SAY ABOUT BLOWJOBB, HONNIES? ] date: 13.01.2004
-
- Huh... wot da hell... Chosneck goes porn-business? Naaaah... It's a new name of
- an 8-bit Atari crew built on the ruins of AIDS! Some weeks after an interview
- with Lewis I got a mail telling me that AIDS doesn't exist anymore and all
- ACTIVE guys ran away to continue their scene activities under a new label. This
- move was intended to get rid of the "long tail with million of inactive
- bodies". Blowjobb'ers are: Lewis, Miker, MacGyver, Dely and Mikey. There is a
- fuckin' large bag with various releases to appear in the near future!
-
- Read more about their forthcoming projects in the interviews with MacGyver
- and Lewis!
-
-
- [ 2ND BACK 2 LIFE? ] date: 10.01.2004
-
- Jaskier, the legendary Taquart coder responsible for various high-quality stuff
- for the XL/XE series, announced the 2nd edition of the well known "Back 2 Life"
- demo, as well as a new version of "Theta Music Composer". The new "B2L" should
- feature effects in hi-res and fullscreen mode! Nothing more is known atm..
-
-
- [ STRONG LOVE 2 DA PASSION! ] date: 16.11.2003
-
- Impossible but real! Zbik, the founder of "Firebird" software company from
- Poland who supported Atari 8-bit in the 90's decided to follow "Sikor Soft"
- steps! Zbik is going to re-publish a few games, just like: "Puzzmania",
- "Ardeny", "Grunwald" or the less known "Lancelot"! :) Currently he is looking
- for any place to buy "new" blank 5.25 disks and thinks about printing new
- colourful envelopes for them :) The cost of one game won't be less than 10-
- 15zl (ca. 3-4 EURO).
-
- "Sikor Soft", "Firebird"... who's next?! ;)
-
- LONG LIVE THE XL/XE SERIES!
-
-
- [ THE LEGEND IS BACK! ] date: 12.11.2003
-
- Believe it or not but the legends of the Polish Falcon scene are back! Yonek
- and Cedyn, the wellknown "Shadows" members are busy working on a new demo!
- Yummie! =) They are searchin' for a good graphist atm. Moonwalker from MSB was
- one of the first persons who offered support for their project.
-
- So boyz and girlz... dreams become reality! The follower of "Firestarter", "IT"
- and "ACYL" is on da way! Yea'!
-
-
- [ JEALOUSY IS A SIN, COMMY BROTHAZ! ] date: 11.10.2003
-
- It's really amazing how roles can exchange their places... :) At the end of the
- 80's till the middle of 90's there was a lot of conversions made from C-64 to
- the 8-bit Atari. Never inversely. But thanx to the latest NUMEN release from
- Taquart this outdated stereotype was broken and we reached the historical
- moment - for the first time Commy guys were jealousy looking at Atari screen!
- Just read the words below found at c64.sk www-site:
-
- :: Original quotation ::
-
- "The source of probably the best demo ever created for an 8-bit Atari NUMEN has
- been released lately. As far as I know, the Atari has the same processor
- instructions as the C64 and that makes this source quite interesting for the
- C64 coders too. Maybe someone of the C64 coders finds the pack stuffed with
- sources interesting as a reference. I find important to mention that this
- outstanding demo needs a stock Atari XL/XE machine + at least 320 KB RAM to
- run. That almost asks for answer from math coders using C64 ram-expansion
- units. (Don't take my last note too seriously, though)."
-
- The future is always on our side, don't ya think? :)
-
-
- [ NEW BLOOD IN MYSTIC LAND! ] date: 10.10.2003
-
- Slovak blood injected into MSB veins! Mikro, one of the most promising Falcon
- code-wizards accepted an invitation to join us =) In spite of rumours he was
- never picked up under Satantronic wings (luckily for us! hehe). The near future
- should bring some nice surprises leaving our ranks! First effect of
- this merge is Chosneck intro :) And there is more to come...
-
- Welcome to the band of insane poles, Mikro!
-
-
- [ I'VE BEEN WAITING IN THE SHADOWS... ] date: 01.10.2003
-
- Shit happened and the expected revenge for TQA guys didn't take place at the
- latest QuaST Party in Orneta/Poland. Ok, ok... it was just a rumour spread by
- Dracon/TQA... but expectations grew to the size of elephant's balls... Not to
- mention that main brain of the crew Konop wasn't even present at the party...
- Hopefully everything can change 'coz one of Shadows members -Jordan- already
- announced work on a new groundbreaking demo for 8-bit Atari. As he said they
- need at least a year or so to make it real.
-
- Eh, well... cheer up! Still nice to see they didn't say the last word in 6502
- coding! And prepare for a real asskick if it's gonna be released...
-
-
- <link=pic21.scr>[ ATARIANS ON THE BALTIC WAVES ] </l> date: 15.09.3003
-
- Atarians from north of Poland close the ranks! So far I managed to organize 3
- feasts in pubs near the baltic sea, just to integrate atarians living in
- neighbouring cities! Beer, grill and atari - pure entertainment! Not to mention
- the 2 crazy compos with prizes - for the best scores in ParaCunt game (shittin'
- rulez!) and a well-known Whip! pong =)
-
- Who was <link=pic21_2.scr>there?</l>
-
- - Dracon / Taquart
- - Hospes / The Votion
- - MacGyver / AIDS^Cobra
- - Darth / Pandemonium
- - Gepard / Lamers
- - Maska / ex-Confusions
- - Trophy / Chosneck Team
- - Suchy / Ind.
- - Stryker / Ind.
- - Grey / Mystic Bytes =)
-
- ...and 3 women =) (2 wifes and 1 gf to be precised ;)
-
-
- My next goal is to gather as many ST/Falcon fellowz as possible and invite them
- at SV2k+4 and QuaST Party 2k+4 to prove that "we are still here!".
