  25.            Dear Atarians, fellows from the Eastern part of Europe!
  26.  
  27. I am so f*ckin' pleased 2 invite all  of  you  to break the agony of the polish
  28. ST/Falcon scene! It's adequate enough a moment  to  face the sad truth - The ST
  29. and Falcon scene has become only a  blurred shadow in our wasteland... there is
  30. no one doing scene-stuff on the  Falcon anymore except our modest activities...
  31. not to mention the humble ST which seems to be forgotten 4good... :(
  32.  
  33. Can we peacefully watch over the fall  of our... happiness? place of our youth?
  34. forget about all these cool blokes who  shared the same passion? And what about
  35. our fame due to the high quality scene-stuff  which set new standards in ST and
  36. Falcon demo-coding?
  37.  
  38.                     Shall we forget about all of that...?
  39.  
  40. Just try to remember the  good  old  days  when  the polish ST/Falcon scene was
  41. growin' up in power. All these great QuaST parties gathering up to 200 atarians
  42. in the 90s...
  43.  
  44. Thanx  to  such  great  crews  like   Syntax,  Confusions,  Shadows,  Cobra  or
  45. Pandemonium polish scene was respectfully introduced to the guys abroad...
  46.  
  47. First release for the Falcon  by  Shadows,  the  real AssKickers formerly known
  48. from 8-bit Atari scene who let our  friends abroad know that something like the
  49. Falcon scene was alive in Poland...
  50.  
  51. Some of us have gone  different  ways  nowadays,  some  things  seem to be less
  52. important for us than in  the  past...  We  are different, everything around us
  53. also seems to be different... But hey, SO  WOT?! Just take a look at these grey
  54. dream-machines which allowed us to meet each  other,  which brought us a lot of
  55. joy... what happened to them? they're  standing somewhere on/under the desks or
  56. deeply hidden in an unknown place covered by a huge layer of dust...
  57.  
  58. Let's dig it out and  bring  it  2  life!  re-fresh your old scene-friendships,
  59. throw an eye on the old unfinished sources...
  60.  
  61.                   And let's sign our existence once again!

  63. The 8-bit Atari scene is the best proof  that  any machine won't die as long as
  64. people LOVE IT and  SUPPORT  IT!  The  machine,  the  community... Why the hell
  65. should the ST or Falcon situation be different?!
  66.  
  67. I don't want to hide a fact that SV2+4 is my last try to resurrect the remnants
  68. left from the Polish ST/Falcon scene. Maybe I  am only a dreamer and the future
  69. will verify my thoughts but I still  believe that polish ST/Falcon scene hasn't
  70. had its last word yet! I hope that some guys are able to join forces once again
  71. and re-build our hype! So please DO  participate in as many compos as possible!
  72. Doesn't matter if it's gfx, msx, ascii  stuff, intro, dentro, demo, fake... all
  73. stuff is welcome!

  75. If the SV2+4 party doesn't bring an  expected reanimation I will simply give up
  76. all my scene activities. That's gonna be the end of my role on the scene.

  78.                            So please once again:

  80. Don't be the passive observer of  things  happenin' around. Sayin' that "all is
  81. over, there's nothing left to do" is  a lie! Take responsibility for the future
  82. of our scene!

  84.                 Let's inject new life into a dying species!
