  8. 1. Introduction

  11.     JVerbs is a MS-Windows reference and study program for most 
  12.     common Japanese Verbs, their forms, usage, and more. JVerbs can
  13.     display the verbs in kanji/hiragana, hiragana, katakana, or romaji
  14.     (using English characters). Some knowledge of the Japanese language
  15.     is recommended but not required.
  16.  
  17.     For studying the verbs there are three kinds of flashcards, a 
  18.     matching quiz, multiple choice quiz, and review and practice
  19.     endings quizzes. 
  20.  
  21.     This is a working demo, limited only in the number verbs,
  22.     and the verb help provided.

  27. 2. System Software and Hardware Requirements
  28.  
  29.     -  IBM PC (386, 486, PS/2, or compatible)
  30.     -  MS-Windows 3.1
  31.     -  A hard drive or a floppy drive with at least 1 meg of available 
  32.        space

  34. 3. Installation
  35.  
  36.  Create a separate directory for JVerbs (c:\jverbs), and unzip the
  37.  jverbs demo distribution into it.

  39.  Run the program from DOS by typing:

  41.   win jverbs
  42.  
  43.  or use the Program Manager and the "New" item under the File menu to 
  44.  create the icon in a group, or use the File Manager to started JVerbs.
