  8. BootShield(TM) protects your system from Boot infecting viruses by archiving 
  9. your boot area, replacing it with Bootlock (TM) code, and locking down 
  10. the boot area from further changes.

  12. BootShield(TM) then monitors for boot virus behavior, and if found
  13. enables you to deinstall boot viruses and instantly restore your boot area.

  17. It is very important to make and keep a recovery disk 
  18. in case parts of Bootlock are damaged or lost.

  20. If you need to update or modify your boot area, 
  21. or install any program that may do so, 
  22. you must first de-install Bootlock(TM) using BSSETUP.EXE.

  24. When installing BootShield under Windows 3.1, you may experience abnormal
  25. behavior at the end of the install process.  This is okay BootShield 
  26. installation has been successful, you just need to restart the computer
  27. manually, and Windows should without a problem after that.
