BootShield(TM) then monitors for boot virus behavior, and if found enables you to deinstall boot viruses and instantly restore your boot area. Install procedures are on page 17 of the documentation (PDF file). It is very important to make and keep a recovery disk in case parts of Bootlock are damaged or lost. If you need to update or modify your boot area, or install any program that may do so, you must first de-install Bootlock(TM) using BSSETUP.EXE. When installing BootShield under Windows 3.1, you may experience abnormal behavior at the end of the install process.
