(Problem solving and suggestions for this program)
BACKGROUND:
Over the years we have come to find that many problems are
simple in nature and easily solved at home if you take the
time to analyze what is happening and when. Every program
released from Blue Foxx Productions has been checked and
tested to meet the quality standards that are demanded in
this day and age. Although we maintain an inexpensive price
for our products we spend many hours making sure they do
what they say they do. We cannot garuantee that they will
work on your system but this is why we have adopted the
"shareware" idea of letting you try it first to make sure.
All products are tested at a minimum on the following:
DOS ONLY, we do not use OS/2 the feedback we have is
that many of the programs work just fine.
An XT 10mhz system
An AT386 33mhz system
An AT486 66mhz system
A software multi-tasking enviroment
A Local Area Network system
On modems from 300 bps to 16,800 bps.
Locked rates from 19,200 to 56,700 bps.
All tests are done on PC's with and without memory over 640k
to insure they do and will work when they are compiled and
distributed.
All programs are in use 24 hours daily on the Blue Foxx BBS and
if you doubt that a program works you can call there anytime and
check it out for yourself. Many times the problem is very simple
but if after going over the suggestions below you are still having
problems we would very much like to hear from you.
PROBLEMS:
When describing problems you are having with this program
please try to include some of the suggestions listed below.
It is impossible to find a problem if the only description
given is "The program doesn't work". Detailed problems will
be delt with usually upon the next version unless it is
deemed important enough for an immediate upgrade.
1. What exactly is the nature of the problem?
2. Was the program working and is now not working?
3. Is it intermittent or continuous?
4. What is displayed on the screen when the problem occurs?
5. Have you changed any of your hardware that could possibly
affect the program in any manner?
6. Have you changed any software that could possibly affect
the program in any manner?
7. Does it only occur about the same time every day?
8. Does it only occur with one particular user?
9. Give a detailed description of the problem.
10. Have you spelled everything correctly in the config file?
11. Are the paths in the config file actually on your Hard drive.
SUGGESTIONS:
Generally please detail what your suggestion is and how it
could be used in the program.
Also why it should be included and how it could enhance the
program if it was included.
If it is specifically for use on your system let us know
also.

If you call our BBS please have your message ready to be
uploaded in ASCII to a FILE on the BBS. Although messages may
be an easy way to get our attention it may or may not be the
quickest or the most positive way.
A printable TEXT file is much easier to keep track of and if
you wish a response please include your name and/or address
with the file. Not all letters, messages, or text files will
receive a reply!!
