  10. You want to delete one or more formulas that you have placed in a
  11. table cell.

  14. Solution
  15. Use of the following methods to delete the formula(s). 
  16.  
  17. Method 1
  18. Delete all of the information from the cell(s) containing the
  19. unwanted formulas.  In either case, the entire contents of the
  20. cells you choose will be deleted, including the formulas.  
  21.  
  22. To delete a formula from one cell only,
  23.  
  24. 1     Place the cursor in the cell that contains the unwanted
  25.       formula.
  26.  
  27. 2     Press Columns/Table (Alt+F7).
  28.  
  29. 3     Press Backspace. 
  30.  
  31. To delete formulas from several adjoining cells, 
  32.  
  33. 1     Place the cursor in the first cell that contains an unwanted
  34.       formula.
  35.  
  36. 2     Press Columns/Table (Alt+F7).
  37.  
  38. 3     Press Block and move to the end of the block of cells you
  39.       want to delete from. 
  40.  
  41. 4     Press Backspace, then type y to delete the block.
  42.  
  43. 5     Press Exit to return to the Table Edit menu.

  45. Method 2
  46. Delete just a portion of a formula. 
  47.  
  48. 1     Place the cursor in the cell that contains the unwanted
  49.       formula.
  50.  
  51. 2     Press Columns/Table (Alt+F7).
  52.  
  53. 3     Choose Math (5), then Formula (2).
  54.  
  55. 4     Press Delete to delete the formula, character by character.
  56.  
  57. If you choose to delete the entire formula, your cursor will
  58. remain at the Enter formula prompt.  You can enter a new formula,
  59. or return to the Table Edit menu.
  60.  
  61. 5     Press Exit (F7) to return to the Table Edit menu.

  63. The formula will be deleted, but all text already in the cell
  64. (such as totals) will be undisturbed.
