  40. BANK-PLAN (r2.0) - Comprehensive & easy-to-use 12-month cashflow

  45. BANK-PLAN (r2.0). Enables small & medium-sized businesses to 
  46. prepare monthly cashflow projections, forecast their cash 
  47. requirements or surpluses, and manage their cash resources for 
  48. 12 months ahead.

  50. BANK-PLAN produces numerous reports and graphs with analyses 
  51. of future cash inflows and outflows and details of projected bank 
  52. balances. Handles sales, purchases, debtors, creditors, VAT, 
  53. stock-building, direct and indirect expenses, capital expenditure, 
  54. interest, divdends etc. under numerous headings and subheads etc.

  56. Ideal for 'what-if' analyses. For easy updating, BANK-PLAN can 
  57. "roll forward" assumptions and projections one month at a time.

  59. Suits any type of business with annual sales (pounds or US$) in 
  60. the range 50,000 to 2 million, as well as professional advisers or 
  61. financial institutions involved in cashflow planning for clients. 
  62. A more powerful version, CASH-PLAN, is suitable for even larger 
  63. businesses. This was nominated as Runner-Up by the UK Lotus Magazine 
  64. in its Annual Awards for 1992.

  66. BANK-PLAN is very friendly and menu-driven with extensive "on-line" 
  67. context-sensitive help. Substantial accompanying documentation in 
  68. text files (over 50 A4 pages). Registered users automatically 
  69. receive a 100-page spiral-bound A-5 manual and access to support.

  73. BANK-PLAN is an internationally useful product because its 
  74. cashflow projections are based on "receipts and payments". It
  75. can be used in conjunction with almost any accountancy 
  76. system or convention. For users in the US, Canada etc. the 
  77. registered version of BANK-PLAN incorporates dollar currency 
  78. symbols throughout instead of the pounds symbol as in the shareware
  79. version.

  88. In compressed form, BANK-PLAN fits on a single disk (360k). The 
  89. supplied archive file is called BANKPLAN.ZIP.

  91. Libraries should recommend users to install BANK-PLAN onto a 
  92. sub-directory called "BANK". The first thing that they should do 
  93. after installation is run a program called "GO".

  95. System required
  96. ---------------
  97. Industry-standard PC with DOS 3.30 or higher and a hard disk. 
  98. Conventional memory of 640k. Runs as a DOS program within Windows 
  99. (Icon supplied). VGA, GCA, mono, Hercules or LCD displays (or 
  100. equivalents). Uses dot-matrix, ink-jet or laser printer.

  102. Registration

  104. Fee is £60 pounds (sterling or Irish) including VAT and P&P. In
  105. some circumstances, the VAT of £10 pounds can be deducted. For the 
  106. US, the fee is $77 including S&H. See REGISTER.TXT for details.

  108. In return for registering, a user received the latest version of
  109. BANK-PLAN with 100-page A5 spiral-bound printed manual 
  110. (incorporating extensive tutorial exercises etc.), and full 
  111. support. Further details are contained in the text file README.TXT.

  113. Registration is via Invest-Tech Limited for Europe etc. and 
  114. through "PsL" (Public software Library) for the US/Canada.

  124. 2.  DISTRIBUTION ARRANGEMENTS
  125. =============================

  127. The Shareware Distributor Agreement Form below should be completed 
  128. by every prospective distributor & approved by Invest-Tech prior 
  129. to any distribution. The Agreement Form need not be completed by 
  130. Approved Vendors of the US Association of Shareware Professionals 
  131. (ASP), by members of the UK Association of Shareware Vendors 
  132. (UK-ASV) or by libraries etc. which were supplied with a copy of 
  133. BANK-PLAN directly by Invest-Tech. If you wish, you may offer your 
  134. own standard distribution agreement form instead of using ours. 
  135.  
  136. *** If you fail to notify us that you are distributing BANK-PLAN, 
  137.     you cannot expect to be sent upgrades, new products etc.

  141. 3.  DISTRIBUTOR AGREEMENT
  142. =========================

  144. The terms of the USER LICENCE AGREEMENT (see README.TXT) also
  145. apply to distributors. In particular, no distributor may break-up, 
  146. change, interfere with or delete any part of the supplied software 
  147. or documentation or make any changes whatsoever to Invest-Tech's 
  148. and BANK-PLAN's copyright and registration details. This does not 
  149. preclude a distributor from adding a readily identifiable 
  150. explanatory text file for user information, or changing the 
  151. method used to archive all BANK-PLAN's files as a single unit.
  152.  
  153. Anyone wishing to charge a fee for distributing BANK-PLAN should
  154. have the prior written non-transferrable authorisation of the
  155. author, Invest-Tech. Without this, a distributor is in breach of
  156. BANK-PLAN's copyright.
  157.  
  158. To secure authorisation, send the completed Distributor Agreement 
  159. Form (or your own distribution agreement form) and a copy of your 
  160. current shareware catalogue to Invest-Tech. Written authorisation 
  161. must be received from Invest-Tech prior to commencing distribution.

  163. The following Terms of Distribution must be fully adhered to:
  164.  
  165. 1. The fee charged by a distributor for supplying a copy of 
  166. BANK-PLAN may not exceed £5 pounds (sterling or equivalent)
  167. inclusive of P&P etc. This limit need not apply to CD-ROM 
  168. distributors where BANK-PLAN is included in a compendium of 
  169. shareware products.
  170.  
  171. 2. Every library's catalogue or listing must clearly state that
  172. BANK-PLAN is NOT free software; that the library's charge to 
  173. customers is a copying fee only and does NOT constitute payment 
  174. for BANK-PLAN; that registration is required for continuing use;
  175. and that BANK-PLAN is copyrighted software and provided as 
  176. shareware solely to allow a user to evaluate it before purchase.

  178. 3. Distribution of BANK-PLAN will cease as soon as Invest-Tech 
  179. requests and BANK-PLAN will be removed from library listings as
  180. soon as practicable thereafter.
  181.  
  182. 4. All copies of BANK-PLAN for distribution must include all
  183. the supplied files (contained in BANKPLAN.ZIP) which must not be 
  184. changed in any way and must be taken from the most up-to-date 
  185. master disk supplied by Invest-Tech.

  187. 5. BANK-PLAN must not be sold via "rackware" or as a low-cost
  188. retail product or packaged for sale with or without pre-printed 
  189. documentation unless written permission has been given by Invest-
  190. Tech PRIOR to any such activity commencing.

  192. 6. BANK-PLAN may not be used as a promotion or enticement for
  193. any commercial venture (including use as a "cover" disk for a 
  194. periodical) unless prior written approval has been secured from 
  195. Invest-Tech.
