  50. AUKLAND I. - 5-10 March. ZL2TPY/ZL9, accompanied by ZL1OK and JH1RHF,
  51. there for a VHF-propagation test, invite VHFers to meet them on 10, 15
  52. and 20 meters to set up VHF skeds. QSL via ZL2TPY.

  54. BANGLADESH - On or about 10 March for 3 weeks. Having requested the
  55. callsign S2JS, Jim Smith, VK9NS, plans to be on all bands with cw and
  56. ssb. Jim will continue to conduct the HIDXA Net on 14,222 KHz from
  57. 0400 UTC. QSL to his home CBA.

  59. BENIN - Now  to 5 March. TY2AB by I8QLS with ssb on 10-75 meters
  60. (including the WARC-bands). Near 14,195 KHz daily from about 1700 UTC,
  61. Pat will sked you for the band you need. QSL via IK8DOL.

  63. FIJI IS. - Now thru April. 3D2QB by SM5BQB on 14,222 KHz at 0400 UTC
  64. and 3510 KHz at 1100 UTC. He plans cw and ssb on 10-80. QSL to his
  65. CBA.

  67. FR. POLYNESIA - FO0IGS opens near 24,945 KHz at 1800 UTC most days.
  68. Most of his activities are on the WARC-bands and he periodically
  69. announces his following schedules. QSL via F6EEM.

  71. MALAWI - 7Q7LA typically opens near 28,535 KHz at about 1300 UTC.
  72. Then, at 1500 UTC, he QSYs to 14,200 KHz-meanwhile offering cw skeds
  73. on 10, 15 and 20 meters. Les QSLs via G0IAS.

  75. MALI - TZ6VV - is usually on 14,200-220 KHz from 0001 UTC. When that
  76. segment of the band is occupied by QSX-callers, you'll find him near
  77. 14,250 KHz. QSL via N0BLD.

  79. MAYOTTE - FH5EJ is regularly near 14,035 KHz from about 0300 UTC. On
  80. request, he will sked you for a contact on one or more of the WARC-
  81. bands. QSL via F6EBA.

  83. MONGOLIA - JT1BS likes 28,470-475 KHz daily from 0030 UTC. QSL Burev
  84. to P.O. Box 676, Ulan Bator, Mongolia.

  86. MONTSERRAT - Now to 7 April. VP2MDB by W2WSE with cw and ssb on 10-80.
  87. He will spend some time in the Novice/Tech portions of 10-meters. QSL
  88. to the CBA of W2WSE.

  90. NIGER - 5U7NU is active daily between 1200 and 2200 UTC with
  91. intermittent 1-hour operations. His favorite frequencies appear to be:
  92. 14,175, 14,220, 21,325 and 28,500 KHz. QSL Alain via F6FNU.

  94. OGASAWARA - JA0BBE/JD1 has an outstanding signal, alternately on
  95. 28,480 or 28,550 KHz from 2230 UTC and then, from 0030 UTC near 24,940
  96. KHz. QSL to his home CBA.

  98. SAN FELIX IS. - Lobster-fisherman XQ0X still finds time to check into
  99. the W2MIG Net on 14,165 KHz several times each week at 1100 UTC. He
  100. also meets the Brazil Net weekends on 28,530 KHz between 1300 and 1500
  101. UTC. QSL via CE3ESS.

  103. SO. COOK - ZK1XO by VE3CPU follows the propagation paths for optimum
  104. cw performance on 10-80. QSL to his home CBA.

  106. SO. ORKNEY IS. - VP8CFM, there on a 2-year assignment with the British
  107. Antarctic Survey, is aboard several of the DX Nets including 14,256
  108. KHz from about 2230 UTC. He hopes to be active on most bands within a
  109. few weeks. QSL via GM4KLO.

  111. SWAZILAND - 3DA0BK, near 28,400 KHz most days around 1800 UTC, offers
  112. skeds on 10-40, including the WARC-bands. QSL to Box 122, Eveni,
  113. Swaziland.

  115. TAHITI - FO0IGS on 18,128 KHz (QSL via F6EEM) and FO4NR on 18,138 KHz
  116. (QSL via F6ELE) are both active nightly from about 0300 UTC.

  118. VIETNAM - Early March for 3 weeks. 3W4DK by UA3DK with daily cw
  119. operations near the low ends of 10, 15 and 20 (plus the 17-meter WARC
  120. band). QSL to his home CBA.

  122. March Contests:
  123. 2-3 ARRL DX SSB.    8-10 Japan DX CW.    9-10 YL-ISSB QSO Party.

  125. NOTEBOOK - Romania's Montana Touring and Climbing Club is preparing a
  126. Himalaya-Everest Mountain Climbing DXpedition and needs our financial
  127. support. With cw, ssb and RTTY, they will be active from NEPAL in late
  128. July and early August, BHUTAN for at least a week in late September
  129. and CHINESE TIBET during the first half of October. Meanwhile, the Club
  130. Station is active on all bands and modes with Special Event Callsign
  131. YQ3R. You can earn a Certificate of Merit and Honorary Membership in
  132. the Club by working YQ3R on both cw and ssb, plus working ten other YO
  133. stations on any band(s) or mode(s). Certificate fee is $10.00 via
  134. YO3CD, Marius Dancila, PO Box 57-11, R-74500 Bucharest, Romania.

  136. MAILBAG - For County-Hunters: Grand Ise, probably the rarest County in
  137. Vermont, will be aired by KA1BSZ/M on 19 April. Starting at 1300 UTC
  138. in the YL Net on 14,332 KHz, he will QSY to the County Hunters Net on
  139. 14,336 KHz at 1430 UTC, then 21,410 KHz at 1600 UTC, 28,410 at 1730
  140. and finally back to 14,336 KHz from 1900 to 2000 UTC. He will provide
  141. cw contacts on request. QSL to his CBA.
