BANGLADESH - On or about 10 March for 3 weeks. Having requested the callsign S2JS, Jim Smith, VK9NS, plans to be on all bands with cw and ssb. NOTEBOOK - Romania's Montana Touring and Climbing Club is preparing a Himalaya-Everest Mountain Climbing DXpedition and needs our financial support. With cw, ssb and RTTY, they will be active from NEPAL in late July and early August, BHUTAN for at least a week in late September and CHINESE TIBET during the first half of October. Meanwhile, the Club Station is active on all bands and modes with Special Event Callsign YQ3R. You can earn a Certificate of Merit and Honorary Membership in the Club by working YQ3R on both cw and ssb, plus working ten other YO stations on any band(s) or mode(s).
