"SATLOCTR.BAS" creates a list of possible satellite locations at
degree increments. It computes the azimute and elevation settings for
a local earth station. Present satellites are listed for ease of finding
them. Updates on positions and new birds are available from various
sources.
The "Earth station location" request is basically an address of the earth
station to label the list.
The latitude and longitude requests are asking for degrees, minutes, and
seconds, of the exact location of the earth station. This information is
available with U.S. Geological Survey Maps. They are available from the
Survey, map dealers and many other sources.
When updating the satellite list it will be easier to locate the new
satellite if numerical order, longitude, with respect to the other
satellites in the list. The renumber the program to keep the spacing
between statements.
