PARAGRAPHS
Normally, PC-TYPE+ assumes a paragraph is defined by the text between
two blank lines. For example, there is a blank line above and below
this paragraph. The reformatting functions, CtrlR, CtrlJ, and CtrlV
will look above and below the cursor location to find these blank
lines to know where to begin and end their reformatting tasks.
Move the cursor to the paragraph above and press CtrlJ. This
instruction knew how far to go because of the blank lines.
If you do not want to have blank lines between your paragraphs, but
still want to be able to use CtrlR, CtrlJ, and CtrlV and to take
advantage of the indenting capability of PC-TYPE+, then you should use
the Special Lines called Paragraph Markers.
Press the PgDn Key
Paragraph Markers
The Paragraph Marker lines may be placed in your text by positioning
the cursor and then pressing F8-F7 and then F7 again. Once in your
text, these markers may be moved, copied and deleted, but not
modified. These lines will not be printed when you print your text.
The area between these two Paragraph Markers would be recognized as a
paragraph to PC-TYPE+ as long as there are no blank lines inside.
Actually, any Special Lines will be interpreted by PC-TYPE+ to be a
paragraph boundary, including the file's ├──── Start ────┤ and
├───── End ─────┤ lines.
