  26.     All 6 types of moves are heavily used depending upon the situation.
  27.     However, AltM with AltL blocking is probably the most common.
  28.  
  29.     When an area is moved, the original marked area is deleted.  With
  30.     CtrlM with CtrlB marking, (overlay move), the original marked area
  31.     is blanked out instead of being deleted to preserve column integrity.

  33.     We will give an example of each type of move below.  Be sure to follow
  34.     the instructions for the examples closely.

  41.                    STANDARD PARAGRAPH MOVE (AltL AltL AltM)

  43.     Move the cursor to THIS line and press AltL.
  44.     Then move the cursor to THIS line and press AltL again.
  45.     Now move the cursor HERE and press AltM.

  47.     That's all there is to moving lines and paragraphs.

  49.                   STANDARD SENTENCE MOVE (CtrlL CtrlL AltM)

  51.     Move the cursor to the 'T' at the beginning of the next sentence and
  52.     press CtrlL.  This is the sentence you will be moving to a new
  53.     location.  Now move the cursor to the '.' at the end of the same
  54.     sentence and press CtrlL again.  Finally, move the cursor to the
  55.     asterisk below, and press AltM.  You have just moved a sentence.

  68.     Move the cursor to each asterisk above and press CtrlB.  Now move the
  69.     cursor to the "$" and press AltM.  You have just made a column move.
  70.     See if you can replace the column to where it was initially.

  72.     When you perform this type of move, you may move the block wherever
  73.     you wish - up, down, etc.  It is particularly handy if you want to
  74.     put two columns of text per page.  Simply type the document in a
  75.     narrow column, open up your margins, and then cut and paste.

  114.     has been split at the cursor.  A simple reformat will close the gaps.
