  82. NEVER seen a FGTH video other than the concert version of  "Relax" that
  83. they played on VH-1 during 8 days of 80's.  I was wondering if there was
  84. someone out there that would be willing to make me a tape with some FGTH
  85. music videos.  I've asked this before, but the thing is I got responses
  86. from people in other countries and the video format is much different
  87. than the one here in the U.S.  We use NTSC.  I do very much appreciate
  88. all those who did respond to my last request... Thank you!  I'd also love
  89. to see the original "Relax" video.  I hope this isn't too much to ask. 
  90. I've got something to trade ya if you'd be willing to make a video
  91. collection for me.  Thanks so much in advance and don't forget to

  110. Hi everyone..Thanks for the response..A little note though..I'd like to
  111. start the dubbing next week..So for those of you who haven't emailed me
  112. yet..I'd like a response by next Wednesday(April 8th)..Also...People are
  113. wondering how much this is going to cost them..I don't know a final price
  114. yet..but I'm expecting it to be somewhere between $5 and $7..One question
  115. though..Does anyone have a tape preference?...To keep costs down..I'm
  116. planing to buy tapes in bulk..I recorded on BASF T-130 and it looks great to
  117. me...If you do have a pref..send in your "vote"..I'll research prices..and

  434. Holly Johnson got back on stage for the second time in this year in 
  435. the 39th "Gay-Happening" at the "Koenigsburg", a maze of a nightclub 
  436. -the dream of all nightclubarchitecs- with 4 levels, 3 dancefloors 
  437. connected with bridges and a kind of swimming-pool in th centre.  
  438.  
  439. He performed a show full of scandal, decadence and marvelous surprizes 
  440. infront of 4000 spectators.

  443. Intro ("Farewell" from Blade Runner)
  444. Love Train
  445. Americanos
  446. Relax
  447. Two Tribes
  448. The Power of Love
  449. Legendary Clidren (all of them Queer)
  450. Relax

  452. Holly was wearing the glamorous costume of the "Atomic City" Video.
  453. The show was acompanied by a lot of expensive special-effects:
  454. Holly got carried on stage sitting on a throne.
  455. There were 3 crosses on stage with 3 actors bodypainted as Jesus & 
  456. Co, playing the Reserection during "Two Tribes".  
  457. During the "Power of Love" 3 Firespitting-Angels inflamed a 2 meter 
  458. high Heart (`with tungues of fire...)
  459. Holly giuded a "scary" Tiger (actor full of bodypaint) on a Line 
  460. during "Relax" and gave the line to the audience.
  461. Every song was acompanied by special-effects of this kind.
  462.  
  463. Holly is in excellent singing- and dancing-shape, which he also 
  464. proved after the show downstairs on the danceflour of the "Catacombs".
  465.  
  466. It was one of the most exciting shows, I ve ever seen of Mr. Johnson.
  467. We re looking forward to the next surprize of "holy" Holly!

  536. nice - but I noticed that there wasn't even the slightest bit of ZTT
  537. affiliation/involvement at all.

  568. Aon left ZTT after just 1 album - Who is Afraid of the art of noise (I'm
  569. not including into battle! and at the same time, Trevor Horn and Pul
  570. Morley left the group... China Records handled all the rest, from the
  571. "Legs" single onwards, but ZTT later brought out the retrospective
  572. 'daft' CD after the bend left the label. A year or three ago, JJ and
  573. Anne (the last remaning members, Gary Langham having gradually faded
  574. out) decided to split the band up (JJ going on to make Art of Silence
  575. rcords on his won Axxiomatic label). More recently Trevor Horn and Anne

  1438. It was up for about a year. It started as a very nice looking "coming
  1439. soon" site that was developed by former employees of www.obsolete.com,
  1440. but then moved elsewhere and was taken over by someone who was not
  1441. very good at design and who gave it an extremely amateur feel.
  1442. There were a few not-very-interesting sound samples and a tidbit or
  1443. two of information about JJ, but it was apparently so underwhelming
  1444. that they decided to play it up as "the world's worst website,"
  1445. making special note of the very annoying color schemes and jagged
  1446. images. It wasn't kept up and eventually the domain disappeared 
  1447. altogether.

  1449. If you go to http://www.swcp.com/~lazlo/ and look at the ZTT 
  1450. discography (under Lazlo's Discography Machine), you'll probably
  1451. see the Art of Silence single that you purchased. There are 3
  1452. singles listed (West 4, Giant Above, Teach Me), and an album that 
  1453. isn't listed for some reason. It's all a far cry from Art of Noise;
  1454. JJ's experimenting with the genre known as progressive house, 
  1455. finding favor in the club scene. All of his releases are UK-only.
  1456.  
  1457. A mix of Teach Me can be found in the USA on the Sasha & Digweed DJ 
  1458. mix CD "Northern Exposure 2 - West Coast Edition." The West Coast has
  1459. terrible taste in music, but in the case of this CD it's just a way
  1460. of marketing what was a 2-CD set in the UK as separate CDs -- the
  1461. music wasn't really picked to appeal to certain regions of the country.
  1462. However, I'm not sure it's a coincidence that I, a midwesterner,
  1463. found the East Coast edition more worthwhile than the other. :)
  1464.  
  1465. (For the geographically challenged: the Midwest is mostly in the
  1466. eastern half of the US, starting in Ohio and going due west to
  1467. Kansas, and most everything northward.)

  1593. Hey! I too went around the specialist dance music shops but found 
  1594. nothing. However, I called ZTT and they say that there is a promo around. 
  1595. BUT it is not the AON. Rather more Sacha and Way Out West. I think she 
  1596. said that it was a remix (so these days, that probably means contains one 
  1597. sample of the new work). However, she did stress that there was no new 
  1598. AON product floating around.
