Subject: (ztt) German Maximum Joy?
Date: 05 Oct 2000 17:57:36 +0000
Loads of questions....
Has anyone in got hold of this yet?
Are there any on-line shops selling to UK customers it yet?
Why do sister ray have Maxium Joy marked as a 'limited edition' in their
latest NME advert (it's not on their website at all BTW)?

Hi !
You can order the German Maximum Joy at amazon.de
There is also a "Club Mixes 2000" CD (2CD) available - with the Maximum Joy
Cover in red - I haven┤t seen that CD in the UK online shops and it is not
mentioned on the ZTT website. Does anyone know anything about that CD ?

It had been delayed a few days. It is out now.

cd101 has it listed. I ordered mine from amazon.de...
=20
The German company distributing Max Joy was allowed to change the track=20
listing. Since ZTTs was a pretty poor selection (IMHO at least) they=20
completely redid it:
CD 1
1.) Relax (Club69 "Future Anthem Part 1") 11:27=20
2.) Welcome To The Pleasuredome ("Nalin & Kane Remix") 11:23
3.) POL ("Rob Searle Club Mix") 8:41
4.) Two Tribes ("Apollo 440 Remix") 6:10
5.) Warriors ("Paralyzer's Warriormix") 5:20
6.) WTTPD ("Stripped Down Remix" by Thomas Schuhmacher) 7:07
7.) Relax (Marc et Claud's "Respect Mix") 7:54
8.) Two Tribes (Olav Basoski's "Tiberium Power Mix") 9:45
9.) Rage Hard (Kay Cee Remix) 7:44
CD 2
1.) WTTPD (Paralyzer's "PleasureMix") 5:18
2.) Two Tribes (Rob Searle "Club Dub") 9:20
3.) Maximum Joy (DJ Ren=E9 "Club Mix") 9:50
4.) WTTPD (Sander's "Coming Home Remix") 10:18
5.) Two Tribes (Fluke's "MagiMix") 5:27
6.) WTTPD (Sleaze Sister's Remix) 7:37
7.) POL (Minky's "Yaba Mix") 8:13
Too bad they didnt use the Almighty remix to Two Tribes. Killer stuff.

Well I just found a tracklisting for the Red sleeve German "Club Mixes
2000" on Amazon.de ...
> CD1
> 1. Relax - (Club 69 Future Anthem Part 1)
> 2. Welcome To The Pleasuredome - (Nalin & Kane)
> 3. The Power Of Love - (Rob Searle Club Mix)
> 4. Two Tribes - (Apollo Four Forty Remix)
> 5. Warriors Of The Wasteland - (Paralyzer)
> 6. Welcome To The Pleasuredome - (Thomas Schumacher)
> 7. Relax - (Marc Et Claude)
> 8. Two Tribes - (Olav Basoski Tiberium Power Mix)
> 9. Rage Hard - (Kay Cee)
> CD: 2
> 1. Welcome To The Pleasuredome - (Paralyzer)
> 2. Two Tribes - (Rob Searle Club Mix)
> 3. Maximum Joy - (DJ Rene Club Mix)
> 4. Welcome To The Pleasuredome - (Sanders Coming Home Remix)
> 5. Two Tribes - (Fluke)
> 6. Welcome To The Pleasuredome - (Sleaze Sisters)
> 7. Rage Hard - (Lee Simpson)
> 8. Relax - (DJ Hell)
Compare & contrast to the German "Maximum Joy" (below), and it seems
only the last 2 tracks of CD2 are different!
Anyone got any ideas what on earth is going on here?

What I posted is the Club Mixes 2000 cd. I don't believe there is a German
edition of Max Joy. It was replaced with Club Mixes.
To the best of my knowledge what I posted was the final tracklisting (got it
from someone who already has the cd).
My personal opinion is to not even get the Max Joy issue and only get the
German Club Mixes. Why? Because all the mixes from Max Joy are on Club
Mixes, and then some. Also, assuming you already have WTTP and Liverpool
there is no need to waste your money on Max Joy.
ZTT needs to realize we don't want another best of cd, we want the 12"
mixes/bsides, etc released on cd.

I think the "Maximum Joy" was also released in Germany. It is listed in the
catalogues and is not quoted as import or so. I guess the "Club mixes 2000" is a
additonal release by repertoire.

Any online place that has it will deliver it. I ordered mine through
amazon.de -- a little hard if you don't read German, but I've ordered through
Amazon enough where I knew what it was asking. You could also use
AltaVista's Babel Fish (http://world.altavista.com/) to translate.
www.cd101.com also has it.

According to the ZTT web (yes I know it's now been updated), it's all=20
regions except region 1. I would suppose it's also a PAL disc. A US versi=
on=20
of the disc is probably on the way as well.
It's a shame that they're not gonna fill the possible massive amounts of=20
disc space with rare audio only tracks and mixes. What a wasted opportuni=
ty.
If I hear one more dire mix of 'classic' Frankie songs I'll....
...well I don't know what I'd do. Probably buy the discs anyway.

I've gotten hold of it today in Frankfurt's Saturn Hansa for 34.99
DEM. It's pretty enjoyable, though not of that old Frankie kind. More
clubby versions, but not bad. The tracklist has been posted here
recently. Someone still got that list, I've too little time to type
all this. AFAIR of the original MJ tracklist, it's pretty the same
except for all new tracks on *both* discs. So no old stuff at all.
Some of the new TT and TPOL tracks from the singles.

To avoid confusion, here is a complete known Frankie 2000 single discography.
The new Pleasuredome 12" promos have yet to be added (thanks to KAi at FGTH

Anyone have details on the new AoN Moments single? I picked up the promo
and, presonally, I quite like it.

Dear people, can anyone out there tell me if the
"Limited Digipak" status refers to the actual digipak
or the reissued cd itself? I hope it means the digipak
is limited edition and that after that, it will be
packaged in jewelbox. What's my point? That the
wonderful remastered reissue of FGTH's WELCOME TO THE
PLEASUREDOME be made permanent and preserved by
Repertoire (whom I commend for being the only record
label to improve it's sound)until a better-sounding
version than the woeful-sounding Universal and
previous versions comes along in the future. So far,
Repertoire is the best!!!!!!! Please carry the torch
for these great albums and ensure that their music is
enjoyed in awesome sound permanently and thank you to
Repertoire for taking the initiative!! I would
appreciate greatly any info on the status of the
reissue. Thanks, Dave.

Subject: (ztt) Tribal Futures Compilation Album
Date: 20 Oct 2000 16:26:56 +0100
Dear All,
This has already been discussed before, but having been sent an advanced
copy by the luvverly folk at Survival International, I can thoroughly
recommend this CD.
Most charity CDs are full of "will this do?" tracks and crap that isn't
worth releasing - BUT NOT THIS ONE.
There are some great tracks on it, and exclusives/remixes by The Orb, Graham
Massey (808state), and Youth amongst many others.
It can be ordered from: http://www.survival.org.uk/cd.htm
This wasn't working earlier today, but I spoke to Survival and it has now
been fixed. They have also promised to keep an eye on it, in case it falls
over again.
ONE POINT TO NOTE: THE COST OF THE ALBUM IS THE _SAME_ NO MATTER WHERE YOU
ARE!!!! SHIPPING TO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IS INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE
ALBUM.
Cost in UKP is ú14 (c.$22 US), so:
- it's a LOT cheaper than buying it on import
- it's for a VERY good cause
SO - WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???? CLICK THE LINK AND BUY A COPY!!!!
;-)
Thanks for reading this, and I hope loads of you order the CD.
All the best,
---
