  89. having been to the shepherds bush gig with a fairly packed audience this
  90. was nice,
  91. 3 metres from the stage, a crowd about 4 deep at the middle.
  92. you could hear the mallet hit Paul's hand and the squeak on Anne's piano
  93. pedal !

  95. it was odd for sure, but they haven't played in England for how many years?
  96. and then
  97. you get to see them live twice in the space of a few months.  excellent
  98.  
  99. the set, was the same as the shows that have been reviewed on the list
  100. before so i wont
  101. repeat it.

  104. Amanda Boyd, singing her little cotton socks off,

  106. Trevor orchestrating the whole thing, plus playing bass and his electronic

  108. Anne, playing piano, improvising at times, and adding vocals on something
  109. is missing !

  112. filled
  113. aon version back to a more guitar fuelled affair.

  115. i look forward to seeing what goodies they put on the DVD.

  208. I went from Bristol (looooooong coach/train/bus journey) and loved it. A
  209. *lot* of cock-ups, though; far more than at the Shepherd's Bush gig.
  210. Then again, it must be weird trying to put on a full-on show to such a
  211. small audience. The played-from-the-computer drum patterns seemed more
  212. intricate than at Shepherd's Bush (maybe it was just a different sound
  213. mix) and Anne did more of her cool keyboard soloing than at the gig.

  240. Records has secured the rights of the ZTT label. Apparently the ZTT back 
  241. catalogue of FGTH, AON & Propaganda will be digitally remastered and

  245. Music Germany had licensed the 808 State album 808:88:98 for Germany,

  315. mention of it on the AoN list nor AoN's website.  Checking out ztt's label 
  316. news page and it's completely blank.

  319. to be successful.  You'd think at least the subscribers to AoN's offical list

  741. Shane MacGowan, done with his night's work singing at
  742. the packed Harp Friday night, repaired to the nearby
  743. McGann's where the Celtic-punk rocker held court with
  744. his entourage, which included his cousin, 10-year New
  745. York resident Sean Fay.  Fay says MacGowan's new 
  746. unreleased music kicks hard and "is pretty republican
  747. as well - not Newt Gingrich Republican."  That means:
  748. Pro-Irish, anti-Brit vis-a-vis The Troubles.  Fay said
  749. while he and MacGowan shared half a bottle of gin one
  750. night in New York last week "there was not one line of
  751. coke or heroin." (MacGowan has been fairly public and
  752. unrepentant about his prior drug use.)  "He's in top
  753. form."  Of his lack of new music since 1997, MacGowan
  754. blamed and cursed the record company, ZTT, and said
  755. "We haven't even tried to get a deal in the States."
  756. All that should change later this year.  As MacGowan,
  757. who still sports a decaying set of choppers, spoke
  758. with a young Irish woman, she fell to the floor.
  759. "It's my charisma," joked MacGowan.
