The ztt.com site has recently been updated with the following 'good' news:
**************
The new trance mixes of æThe Power Of LoveÆ will released as a single (12ö
vinyl and CD) on June 12th. Currently receiving play from Pete Tong, Judge
Jules and Dave Pearce, the single contains three mixes:
- Rob Searles Club Mix 12ö version (8.44 minute version)
- Rob Searle Radio Edit (4.10 minute version)
- MinkyÆs Yaba Mix (5.02 minute version)
The track will also be included on a brand new Frankie æBest OfàÆ to be
called æMaximum JoyÆ released in the Autumn. The album will include the
original recordings and new remixes and will be accompanied by a DVD
including rare videos and unreleased mixes.

the copy of the propaganda mp3 I got from their site seems really distorted.
This is the only mp3 I've ever had that's done this before. Has anyone else
faced this problem with this particular mp3?

Could this indicate that the lads are on the way back with an album or
atleast that they are working on new stuff. It's been four years now. I
only rarely listen to them now. And that's a shame.

If I remember correctly, there was some talk on this list last year about
Trevor helping produce something with Charolette Church. Just happened across
her "Voice of an Angel" today and rather liked it. However, I didn't see any
mention of Trevor or ZTT in the liner. Can anybody tell me what work of
hers Trevor had his hands in?
Thanks,

I saw an ad in the Sunday (May 7) LA Times that said Frankie Goes to
Hollywood will be appearing May 11 at the Crazy Horse Steakhouse in the
Irvine Spectrum (in southern California). Phone number is (949) 585-9000.
Presumably these are the same guys who toured last year using the name, or
maybe some new imposters have emerged.
Ummm...how exactly can these guys use that name without getting their asses
sued off? Just curious.

Get ready for a Club Mix Version of "No Return".
Ralf Beck (Nalin & Cane), is going to start work on the track soon.
A possible 12" Vinyl release is also on its way on the label "Superfly".
You can expect two brand new Propaganda Songs by produced Tim Simenon (Bomb
the Bass, producer of Depeche Mode and others) who is currently working on
the tracks in his London studio.

Guess ZTT figures it a diminishing return/loss on suing them
The cover band is probably broke anyways...
But a scary letter from a Lawyer's Office might scare them!

No, the track is "Just Wave Hello" - which was lifted from her self titled
(first?) album "Charlotte Church".
BTW, what's happened to the TCH Archive Collection?!

Date: 18 May 2000 08:34:46 -0500
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Frankie Goes To Hollywood is supposedly playing in all places -
Omaha, Nebraska tonight at a place called the Music Box!
A local radio station has jumped on the bandwagon thinking this
is the real thing - this is really irritating. I mean Omaha is
growing and has a pop. of approx. 900,000 (metro), but I don't believe this is the real thing.
I WANT TO BURST THE BUBBLE! Does anyone has any definitive proof
that they do not have any license to use the name? Can we put a
stop to this ridiculous rip off once and for all?
I would be more than happy to get on this local station and discourage
people from attending if I could get some names or other facts of those in this rip off.
Please e-mail me within the next 4-5 hours.
Thanks!
John Heida, Jr.
