with such singles as 'Peter Gunn', 'Close (To The Edit)' and a
version of Prince's 'Kiss' featuring Tom Jones, will be playing the
Shepherd's Bush Empire on Wednesday March 22.
Performing tracks from their new album 'The Reduction Of Claude
Debussy'(due out on ZTT Monday March 20), original members
Anne Dudley, Trevor Horn, and Paul Morley, plus new recruit Lol
Creme (ex-10CC) will be joined by technical man Tim Weidner and

I'm guessing that The Reduction Of Claude Debussy is Part Two of
"Seduction".
I remember reading in an interview that the group had planned on making
Seduction a double album.
If they're playing new songs on this UK date, then that would be my logical
guess.

Straight from the hoarse horse's mouth...
"'the seduction of claude debussy' is the first in a series of projects from
this art of noise, known for the sake of security as the four piece post-pop
pop group with plenty up their sleeves and in their hearts. 'the seduction
of claude debussy' will split off into sub-releases, depending on its levels
of success. . . . . an ambient diversion called 'the reduction of claude
debussy', a noised-mix diversion called 'the abduction of claude debussy',
an interactive diversion entitled 'the masturbation of claude debussy' and a
producers cut specially mixed by trevor horn entitled 'the production of
claude debussy.' after that, art of noise will consider albums to be
released in 2001, 2003, 2006 and so on until their days are numbered. these
albums will be four piece post-pop pop group takes on things that go bump in
space."

Thoughts?

I was surprised to see Frankie Goes To Hollywood playing an upcoming show in
February at the House of Blues.
I assume this is that "tribute" band we've heard about lately? Check out
the link below for the calendar.

Can't they get sued for using the FGTH name?

Please avoid this band like the Plague. I saw their show when they were in
Seattle (a friend bought tickets as a surprise; what can you do?) and it was
both offensive and downright bad.
If they were a decent cover band, I could possibly overlook the sleazy
name-stealing, but they sound terrible and outright lie on stage about being
the original FGTH. In the end, I left after three songs and had more fun
listening to Pleasuredome in my car on the drive home.
