  233. It was up for about a year. It started as a very nice looking "coming
  234. soon" site that was developed by former employees of www.obsolete.com,
  235. but then moved elsewhere and was taken over by someone who was not
  236. very good at design and who gave it an extremely amateur feel.
  237. There were a few not-very-interesting sound samples and a tidbit or
  238. two of information about JJ, but it was apparently so underwhelming
  239. that they decided to play it up as "the world's worst website,"
  240. making special note of the very annoying color schemes and jagged
  241. images. It wasn't kept up and eventually the domain disappeared 
  242. altogether.

  244. If you go to http://www.swcp.com/~lazlo/ and look at the ZTT 
  245. discography (under Lazlo's Discography Machine), you'll probably
  246. see the Art of Silence single that you purchased. There are 3
  247. singles listed (West 4, Giant Above, Teach Me), and an album that 
  248. isn't listed for some reason. It's all a far cry from Art of Noise;
  249. JJ's experimenting with the genre known as progressive house, 
  250. finding favor in the club scene. All of his releases are UK-only.
  251.  
  252. A mix of Teach Me can be found in the USA on the Sasha & Digweed DJ 
  253. mix CD "Northern Exposure 2 - West Coast Edition." The West Coast has
  254. terrible taste in music, but in the case of this CD it's just a way
  255. of marketing what was a 2-CD set in the UK as separate CDs -- the
  256. music wasn't really picked to appeal to certain regions of the country.
  257. However, I'm not sure it's a coincidence that I, a midwesterner,
  258. found the East Coast edition more worthwhile than the other. :)

  260. (For the geographically challenged: the Midwest is mostly in the
  261. eastern half of the US, starting in Ohio and going due west to
  262. Kansas, and most everything northward.)

  382. Hey! I too went around the specialist dance music shops but found 
  383. nothing. However, I called ZTT and they say that there is a promo around. 
  384. BUT it is not the AON. Rather more Sacha and Way Out West. I think she 
  385. said that it was a remix (so these days, that probably means contains one 
  386. sample of the new work). However, she did stress that there was no new 
  387. AON product floating around.
