  68. 1.  Interview with Zorn in William Duckworth's new book.
  69.  
  70. 2.  I just got a press release for a new Laswell label.  (Yes, another one.)
  71.  It's called Meta and it "explores new directions in recorded spoken word."
  72.  First three releases are Paul Bowles' "Baptism of Solitude", William
  73. Burroughs' "Seven Souls" (remixed "in a funk/club setting") and "The
  74. Assassins" an anthology on that subject.  Meta is distributed by Caroline
  75. Records.  I don't have more specific release dates.

  83. Anyone checking out Mark Dresser (contrabasse), Gerry Hemmingway (drums),
  84. and Ellery Esklin (sp? - sax) tonight (9 pm) at the Knitting Factory?  has
  85. anyone heard the three of them perform together?  I've heard Dresser
  86. perform in the past and he's brilliant - I would love to hear what others
  87. think of the three of them together.
