  21. I recently got a disc called Knitting Factory Goes to the Northwest (for 
  22. the Sonny Sharrock tracks) which included some material from Third Person 
  23. (a Marc Ribot project) which I really dug.  Can anybody give me info on 
  24. which Third Person albums to look for first?  How about other projects 
  25. from Chris Cochrane?  Thanks much.

  38. yeah, i've heard this, and liked it a lot.  it sounds cool!

  40. there are lots of interviews of eye cuz of the boredoms are in a lot of
  41. zines these days it seems.  i recommend them, they are always amusing.

  43. unfortunately i missed zorn/eye at the knitting factory last week or
  44. Whenever it was.  and tonight is ground zero but i'll probably miss that
  45. too (for a game of death session).  oh well!

  47. cyro battista -- who is very cool -- came into the brazilian drumming class
  48. i'm taking yesterday and commented on my Naked City t-shirt (the mark beyer
  49. on), said he had played with them, and had the t-shirt too.

  57. To add to the "Where is Painkiller playing next" questions, or "Are 
  58. Painkiller really touring"--They are playing in Seattle on May 4 (thurs.) 
  59. at Moe's.  It seems like they are touring, but at very sporadic dates (ie 
  60. they are playing in Minneapolis only 2 days later, May 6).

  68. animated film...any truth in the rumors?  Was also wondering if PAINKILLER

  132. Yes, same line up. It's way different than the other 2, _GOAV_, and _BS_.
  133. First of all, it's 2 discs, both clock in around 40 or so minutes. Compare
  134. that to the other 2 that barely make 25 minutes! I just got it, and only
  135. have about 1.5 listens. It not such an all out attack like the other two.
  136. There's some quiet time between the jamming. Harris is the real star, so
  137. far. Amazing drum work. The second disk is titlied _Ambient_. There's
  138. not much to this, lots of spacey music, with the guys fading in every now
  139. and again.

  163. Also, The Vandermark Quartet and NRG Ensemble are both amazing.  I was
  164. lucky enough to see NRG live last summer outdoors and it was brilliant.
