  21. hello all...i'm really pleased that there is a list for john zorn music...i
  22. feel that zorn is one of the most important composers we have...i have a
  23. question, though...you see, i have never any of john zorn's groups live and i
  24. was wondering...when he performed with say, Naked City with its wild non-
  25. sequitur and seemingly chaotic changes...did zorn use some sort of signal
  26. method to cue the musicians in an abrupt change?...similar to frank zappa's
  27. "conducting" method, where various body actions known previously to the
  28. musicians are employed for sudden style changes...just curious...

  66. Well, the 3rd CD thing sucks!  Wish I woulda known about it, 'cause I
  67. woulda gotten it.  Oh well...  The sleeve art thing is kinda
  68. interesting - "Hanging" is what's on the cover of *my* Execution
  69. Ground CD, or at least that's what I'd call a guy dangling by the neck
  70. >from a tree. :-)  Wonder how it's different.  ON another note,
  71. *finally* got my Masada CD (haven't had time to listen to it yet), and
  72. was wondering if anybody had a translation of the liner notes.  And,
  73. any more thought being given to a trading list for Zorn stuff?  It
  74. sounds like a really good idea.
