  25. live Naked City or Painkiller w/ Buckethead (at the KF Zorn week described
  26. on the Zorn home page) or whatever.

  34. I'm new to the list, but I got all the back digests and just wanted to
  35. throw my $0.02 in on some stuff.

  37. I also checked CDNow.com and they show a release date of 2 Jan for
  38. _Masada 1_ - I'm hoping my indie store can order it and get it here
  39. the day it comes out, but if he can't, CDNow is pretty good about
  40. timely delivery.

  42. What kinda logic is behind releasing Painkiller's new one regularly,
  43. then waiting and releasing ltd editions - I buy Zorn stuff (and
  44. Laswell stuff too) the day it comes out and I'm not gonna sit on my
  45. butt and wait for some cool box so I can hear the music.  But I'm also
  46. not gonna buy another copy just to get the cool box!  Bizarre!

  48. That sucks about Zorn walking outta the KnitFac 'cause of sponsorship
  49. (I feel just about the same way, tho), since he and it had been so
  50. beneficial to each other over the years.  Hopefully this won't be a
  51. lasting deal.

  53. Just got finished reading the Zorn discography - great stuff!  And
  54. also finished reading Ed's web page - more great stuff!!!  BTW, Ed -
  55. my offer to tape some industrial (in exchange for that Masada video
  56. that you did for me) for you is still good.

  58. Another BTW, what's the general feeling about the trading of tapes of
  59. Zorn's performances?  Frowned on, OK, or what?

  61. Anyway, glad to see a list devoted to Zorn start up, but the digest
  62. form can be a bit stifling.  Oh well - glad to get the info in any
  63. form.

  79. As an aside, I was surprised to see Trevor Dunn playing at Cafe DuNord (a nice
  80. blues bar/restaurant in San Francisco) a few months ago as part of the "house
  81. band," opening for Charles Brown. I wasn't able to find out whether he plays
  82. there regularly, but feel free to follow up if you're interested.
