  40. Sunday morning I wrote a reaction to the Sharrock thread, combined with a 
  41. review of Baily/Zorn/Baron/Workman from the night before (including juicy 
  42. bits of pulp) and i addressed Steve Smith's month-old query regarding Zorn 
  43. and racial exploitation from my own personal experience.
  44.  
  45. After it was omitted w/o explanation, I wrote to the z-list owner asking for 
  46. explanation, with no response.
  47.

  91. As I understand it, the list is not moderated, and messages pass through
  92. to the list without Mike's interaction. Also, if I recall correctly,
  93. Mike is out of town and off-line, so he probably has not gotten your
  94. query yet, and therefore not answered.

  96. Are you absolutely positive that you addressed the email correctly and
  97. did not inadvertently delete it from your mailbox before reading it?
  98. Can you show that the message actually got to xmission.com and is not
  99. stuck at an intermediate site somewhere? Might there have been a
  100. software glitch?

  102. Human error happens, and Occam's razor would suggest it as a more
  103. probable explanation than the paranoid theory below.

  151. Not so. Mike Rizzi the list moderator is on the road momentarily, or so I 
  152. read here a few days ago. His job doesn't consist of censoring people, many 
  153. thanks to him in this regard by the way. Do resend your message but slice 
  154. it up in smaller chunks, as too large messages are forwarded to the 
  155. moderator for approval. This is mainly, as I understand it, to prevent that 
  156. people send attachments to the list by mistake, that would end up filling 
  157. our attachment folders / digests, with viruses / gibberish. This is 
  158. probably what happened? Or your message was eaten by carnivore, or then 
  159. again echelon.

  199. As Joseph says, this has happened to me several times and it was always my
  200. fault. I've sent many e-mails with inappropiate formats or even with
  201. attachments without even noticing. Some days after I usually receive Mike's
  202. "complaint" in that regard and the message finally gets to the list. If I'm
  203. not the only one to make these mistakes, Mike must sick and tired of us.

  224. I may have simply assumed incorrectly, but frankly I've learned to examine 
  225. circumstances. What I posted before and after was innocous, and posted 
  226. without problem. But the post in question *could be seen as* somewhat 
  227. controversial, the degree to which you cannot know w/o having seen it. 
  228. Whereas YOU may have never censored anyone, I have been on many sites, lists 
  229. and forums where I've been censored, at times forthrightly and at others 
  230. surreptitiously. Censorship IS a reality in many online settings, so the 
  231. invocation of Occam's Razor for the purpose of declaring me paranoid is 
  232. really over-reaching. Your larger point regarding the possible fate of my 
  233. missive is well taken, however. Perhaps we'll even get to see it someday as 
  234. I seem to now recall some previous posts were lost in a queue limbo.

  314. Mike a while back on this same subject.  He simply asked me to clip portions
  315. of posted messages rather than replying and including the whole message or
  316. thread.

  322. constantly posting stuff that pisses everyone else off.  Could the

  466. elite= guys who play music hardly anyone wants to hear for a lot of guys who
  467. can't get dates.  The Simpson's Comicbookstoreman is the poster child for

  534. reserved to serious thinking (and not sprinkled in the most casual and
  535. mundane situation, like exhibiting our new clothes at any occasion).

  575. technology major, it seems a little superfluous to give me a terms list, but
