  327. both jazz and rock stuff). I haven't heard the record, but people tell me it 
  328. has a Headhunters/jam-like vibe. I don't know what the "out/avant-meter" 
  329. reading is...  Pamelia Kurstin told me she's arranged some tracks on it, and 
  330. maybe plays some theramin... btw, she'll be in the opening act for Air on 
  331. this tour, so you should check it out if you dig her stuff.

  840. mulitple message copy problem was happening,
  841. I was receiving thousands of message bounces
  842. from servers all over the Internet. At its

  895. Just got my copy from Bruce at DMG.  While it may be premature to make a 
  896. full-on recommendation, after one listen I can say that this disc is 
  897. excellent.  I'd only heard a portion of this music one time -- at a Trisha 
  898. Brown/Dave Douglas performance last summer in Saratoga Spings -- and I was 
  899. amazed at how well I remembered the melodies.  This has nothing to do with 
  900. the power of my sieve-like memory; it has everything to do with the power and 
  901. eloquence of Dave's compositions.

  903. I'm assuming that many of the in the New York area or who do mail order with 
  904. DMG already own this.  What's the general opinion?

  944. exclusively for the next six months through DMG, then RCA is releasing it

  947. thanks to the kindness of Brian Olewnick, I recently heard the much acclaimed 
  948. Terry Riley-You're Nogood, easily my favorite recording by him ever. I'm 
  949. still not thrilled about spending 30-plus dollars for a 20 minute piece (plus 
  950. another disc of Poppy Nogood, which I can live without). lame marketing, 
  951. awesome music.
