Actually, Gordon Haskell, vocalist and bassist on Lizard, made a quirky gem
of an album called 'It Is And It Isn't'...

Subject: This week on Mappings
Hi y'all,
This week on Mappings, a weekly new music program on Antenna Internet
Radio <http://www.antennaradio.com/avant/mappings/index.htm>, I've
programmed some works that I think readers of this list will be
interested in by Eve Beglarian, Miguel Frasconi, Shelley Hirsch &
David Weinstein, Phoebe Legere, John Oswald, John Schott, Laetitia
Sonami, Carl Stone, and James Tenney.
The RealAudio recording went online about 10-11 pm (Greenwich -0800)
on Monday night and will remain online for a week. I hope you have a
chance to check out the show.
Last week's program (featuring music by Tom Johnson) is available in
the archives: <http://www.antennaradio.com/avant/mappings/index1.htm>
See you online.
Bests,
Herb

You're right! I found this on CD a year ago or so, and couldn't resist. It
holds up surpringly well, unlike most of the music from my "youth" of this
vintage that I've revisited. And since we're (I'm?) on the subject, I would
say the same and maybe more for Audience's House On the Hill album from the
same era, which I'm sure is in more than a few collections and history from
people on this list. Except that (and I REALLY hope I'm not going to ruin
this record for any fan of it) Howard Werth's vocals now sound uncannily like
Axl Rose!!
Dale.
