  459. Yes, really great LP, sadly, AFAIK, still unavailable on CD, like many discs
  460. from MPS. What the hell is going on, that fantastic MPS stuff is only
  461. chaotic transferred to CD, mainly in Japan.
  462. Other great record from this times /early ECM/ is Dauner's "Output" - real
  463. holy grail for me.
  464. Back to my to ten - I forget one of the craziest LP/CD's ever - Dauner's
  465. "Oimels" !!!

  499. I don't like 'Prof. Leary very much. It's very different than any of his
  500. other releases (though another atypical one is 'Moshi')
  501.  
  502. My favourite Barney Wilen is 'Zodiac, a mid-60's LP issued on Vogue in
  503. France, featuring (please sit down...) Karl Berger, J.F. Jenny-Clarcke and
  504. Jacques Thollot!!! 12 short but intense free-jazz improvisations about the
  505. 12 zodiac signs.

  600. Strange to recommend albums one hasn=B4t heard oneself - but I _have_ heard
  601. the Tzadik release by Schott, Ben Goldberg and Michael Sarin, _What Comes
  602. Before_, which is a lovely, spiritual, almost ambient selection of

  655. I wish it were just a lead-in.  From what I understnad, it's his whole 
  656. Columbia catalogue.  The originals were reissused by Ryko with lots of bonus 
  657. tracks.  This time around there are supposed to be an additional two bonus 
  658. tracks per disc.  I probably already have them on boots or vinyl but, you 
  659. know, the completist in me needs the official reissues.  As Costello once 
  660. said, "What starts as a flirtation soon ends up as an expensive habit."
