I too would love to see the top 10s again, in whatever form they turn up.

By the way, I have a copy of a limited edition set of 1,000 live Merzbow
videotapes, each between 3 and 7 seconds long and permanently encased in a steel
box wrapped in surgical gauze. Best offer.

i guess these 2 percussionists may have been don alias and warren smith,
who played with williams at this time. there's actually a decent recent
compilation of lifetime-era tony williams, released on verve (compiled by
jack dejohnette) - called the ultimate tony williams. i reviewed it for

didn't like the later stuff. have checked that out already. didn't have
a problem with tony's playing, but with the music itself...
