Not that interesting article.
Can anyone tell us what software Boris is using? Are there anywhere
articles on that? Is Boris really not using any multitrack tape
recorders?
Has he some sample cataloging software? Any custom made software?

Hello. I made a sample from movie
Ace Ventura -- Pet Detective
1992/1993

Ocean.mp3 is recorded from the quite end of the film.
Listen and compare to the beginning of the song "Ocean Club"
on album "Baby", 1991, by Yello. Any explanations for the similarity?

The director probably used "Ocean Club" on the temp track (a temporary
soundtrack used to give the final composer of the score an idea of what kind
of music the director would like used throughout the film). Sometimes
composers who are lazy or under deadline pressure will swipe heavily from a
movie's temp track. Sure sounds like it in this case!

Hi Sven and everybody!
Jam & Spoon (Jam el Mar & Mark Spoon) became a known techno band here in
Sweden with the song "Right in the Night" is was a dance tune containing =
the
guitarr solo from one very known spanish acoustic song, unfortunately I h=
ave
forgotten it=B4s name or at least I am not 100 % sure of it! I belive it=B4=
s the
song "Austurias". They have also had hit=B4s with "Kaledoscope Skies" and=
"The
Age Of Love".
I have seen the following Yello remixes from Jam & Spoon:
1. The album version from Hand=B4s On Yello (The one most of us have)
2. The UFF mix (The mix I like the most, it has a very psychological
construction)
3. The Haus mix (This one contains parts from the Great Mission, No.4 on =
the
You got to... album)
4. Bostich (This one is a lot cooler than the Westbam remix)
But take a look at Jonas discografy if you want to know more.

This is the only Yello remix I have heard from them. But it was enough for
me to go out and buy some of their cd's. They are now one of my most
listened to groups (I also love Tokyo Ghetto Pussy). Fantastic duo.
Of the Hands On remixes, perhaps the only one I enjoyed more was from
Cosmic Baby.
