Well, I was wrong. Jonas doesn't subscribe to this list any more.
As Sheldon and I get news from his other list, we'll just have to
copy any relevant posts here (as you did on the last digest, Sheldon).
Unless of course there is someone on this list with the same advanced
information that Jonas seems to get.

Well, I'm not subscribing to the other list, but seems like someone (Daniel
Eisenhart) on this list was able to supply the track list for "Motion
Pictures"...? Which Jonas mentioned he wasn't able to get - yet. Or did it
come from the other list?

Hi fellows,
Why do we always have to have this discussion? Can't the lists co-exist or
does there have to be some kind of race between them. Isn't the most
important thing that the news gets spread so that all Yello freaks knows
about it... Personally I value the news, no matter what list it shows up on :-)
Go, Yello!

This was sent out yesterday by jonas on his news list.
I hope everyone thats reading this post will make there own desicion
and chose which list suits them best. I personally choose to subcribe
to both of them. As a hardcore YELLO fan, I choose to leave no stone unturned.
I cant really see what the fuss is all about. The Jonas news list is merely
an extention of his detailed and informative YELLO info site.
A site, in my opinion, is the most up to date and accurate disgog on the net.

Hold your horses fellows...
I think to will make up third Yello mailing list. What You think about
that? ;-)
Now we have this "normal" list; anyone can write and read messages. The
second list is that "news" list: You can read but you can't write there
anything.
... my list will be "Yello - irrelevat". Always when You want to write
some crap remember my list. When You are subribed on my list You can
always write there but anyone can't read anything. I will make it
because I'm really boring to read messages full of flames. Is it really
so hard to talk about Yello and let other irrelevant things be? Could we
all Yello fans be friens again, is it too much asked?
And now something about Yello...
I bought two Russian copy CD's, one is titeled "Yello Best" and second
is "Yello Very Best '99". Both records includes tracks which are taken
from albums (no rare tracks)
Inside the cover of CD "Yello Best" is one really weird picture. I
suppose that both Boris and Dieter will be really angry if they can see
it. If You want to look at that picture, You can find it at
http://thunder.prohosting.com/~makke/yello/p/weird.gif

Robert,
I have asked the same myself again and again, and it usually ends up
with one or more of the 'both list' brigade hurling flame mail at me,
fortunately for the membership mostly offlist.
Obviously Yello need two lists to enable discussion, and they comprise
of members that fall into two categories. Those who believe there
should be two lists for Yello, and those (like you I assume) who only
see the need for one.
As far as I can make out, thats the only difference of the lists.
Allegedly the other is a news list, but it contains discussion (as
keeps being copied here) but if I had any Yello news, I'd post it
here!
In the words of Yello, you're "blessed and beaten".

Just how old are you people on this list? I am 22. Could we all start
acting like adults? I see no problem what so ever with two lists. I agree

Now that I new single is coming out... eventually... I was curious to
know how remixers are chosen to remix songs for singles - do the record
companies choose them or do they volunteer. I can't imagine Yello
choosing them as many of the remixes of Yello songs are hopeless.

the new videoclip can be found on http://www.mtvhome.de/extra/yello_fs.html
(click on eyes). Anyway, first I was not able to see the clip, but the sound came
thru. Then I saved the file of the clip, renamed extension to .mov, downloaded
apple quicktime 4. Now I can see and listen.
Check this out, it is funny. Typical old-style yello sound, funny animations,
Dieter's head on girls body is dancing, flying fruits, typical Yello stuff.
I am really waiting for October 25th to come!
