Lucky you ... I have no turntable and only one Yello vinyl
(the race, never touched by a turntable)

Who can grab from vinyl ?
I have some vinyls I like to have on CD ...

The Portishead CD in question is actually called "PNYC" or "PNYC - Live in
New York". It was released (in Norway) 6th of Nov 1998 on label Polydor.
Distributed by Polygram. (Didn't find the number, as I do not own the CD
myself)

Portishead is quite interesting music - definitely original. "Dummy" is a
classic, "Portishead" wasn't that good, and "PNYC", which are live versions
of the best from both records is (of course) really good :)  It also comes
as a video, btw.

None of these are electro/techno/what have you. Frankly I've grown weary of
samplers and hybrid artists. You can listen to the local show that features
this genre via internet called "Metroplolis"  @ http://www.kcrw.org
Check for times on their site.

Faithless - Sunday 8pm
Massive Attack - Mezzanine

Plus of course any Bjork, Yello, Zeppelin, Beatles <flame shield on>,
Stravinsky, Beethoven, Aphex Twin and for those lucky enough to be
able to receive BBC Radio One or the British Forces Broadcasting
Station - John Peels fab programme during the week, 10 to midnight UK
time. Best music on radio anywhere ; -)

Yeah. Haven't they had something like six live performances altogether?
How many of you have seen Yello live? I remember seeing them in TV
accepting some prize for 'The Race' back in the 80's. Mind you, I was
around 11 or 12 at that time and I already then thought that those two
guys are pretty darn cool.
