Well, I've been here all the time....just lurking.....like others
I guess.....but there's not been much worth chatting about lately.
Just the usual boring....."just seen the remix, of the remix, of the
10 inch, from the film, of the book, etc, etc.
I suppose this is what a list is like when the band don't tour.
Nothing! Zilch! Zip! Just waiting for the next album, to get in to
a frenzy about. But then I can't even find a copy of Eccentrix!
So I wasn't able to join in the discussion about that one!
(Even though that was a remix album. But then I don't have ANY remix
material from Yello, so I thought "what the heck, I'll buy THIS one".)
It was also obvious from the start that neither Boris nor Deiter ever
bothered to contribute to this list - who knows if they've ever seen it!
Whereas on the "Little Feat" digest there is constant posting, and a buzz,
simply because they are touring, and the band are gracious enough to drop
in from time to time to add their feedback. Oh well, gripe over.
>>Was just at my local Virgin store, and they have YELLO on their
list of upcomming releases for the end of july. Hope its true.<<
My obvious question is "Which Virgin store? Which country? And what album?
Move......Dance.......Be Born

Why does Yello tour? What do they do with their lives between albums? I'd
like to know the men behind the music.

With the current lack of info, this is the most exciting thing I've got.

Great news, if it really is true.
In the meantime I strongly suggest you go out and buy Chemical Brother's
latest "Surrender". An excellent album! I loved it after the first hearing.

Perhaps during this drought of no new Yello, we should all post what we're
listening to in the meantime. My most recent purchases (and all winners,
in my opinion):
Underworld, Beaucoup Fishes
Cassius, 1999
Jamiroquai, Sykronized
Anyone else what to add to this "Must Listen" list?

Basement Jaxx: Remedy
Chemical Brothers: Surrender
Keb Darge's Legendary Deep Funk Volume 3
The Idjut Boys & Quakerman: Life - The Shoeing You Deserve
On the non-electronic side, anything by Radiohead.
In addition, I'm enjoying my Yello vinyl collection more than ever on my
