Hi!
Really exciting to hear about the new album. By the way, does this mean that
all the talks about Yello pausing their work until Boris's child grow older
were simply an advertising hype?
I'm leaving to Zurich on Sunday... Anyway, I guess I won't be that lucky to
meet Boris... :-)

Subject: (yello) Just Can't Get Enough - New Wave
I guess most of you have used AltaVista for searching the Internet for =
useful information on whatever, and noticed the www.amazon.com gimmick =
where you can "Search for book titles on ..." whatever you searched for. =
Well, I tried searching for Yello in Amazon's music archive, and the =
usual albums popped up, and so did the title "Just Can't Get Enough - =
New Wave". Only one of the songs in this compilation are by Yello, and =
that's
3. Bostich - Yello (Extended remix)=20
Anyone know if this is special or new remix of "Bostich"? The reason I'm =
asking is that I can't find this compilation or the specific track on =
Lazlo's Discography Machine, which I thought included about everything =
Yello ever released.
The Discography includes the following Bostich versions; "remix", =
"n'est-ce pas", "extended dance version", "reese respect mix", "reese =
uptempo mix", "reese break beat mix", "new life mix", "the reese savage =
mix", "original version", "machine mix", "rush push mix", "video cut", =
"westbam's hands on yello" (in that order) - but no "extended remix".
I guess this could just be the people behind the compilation sort of =
making up their own title for a Yello track, or it could be their own(?) =
remix of "Bostich". It would be interesting to know which version this =
is, and even more interesting to know if it's a brand new one.
It's only $10.79, so I will consider buying it just to find out for my =
self. If anyone else should be interested in this record, here's some =
information:

5. Rapture - Blondie (Special Disco Mix)=20
6. Precious - The Jam (Extended version)=20
7. Beat Box - Art Of Noise=20
8. Wildstyle, The - Time Zone=20

I'm working on an official book/documentary on Yello
(it's about time isn't it) in close cooperation with Yello
themselves. It will hopefully come in a box with lots of
surprises that I know fans will love, but I can't really
go into any details yet. Oh, by the way, Boris was very
grateful for the greetings some of you sent him via me!

hi to all,
last night, I saw Dieter Meier on the Swiss television. He sat in the first
row of seats to see the K1-fight between Andy Hug and Peter Aerts in the
"Z=FCrcher Hallenstadion".

To whoever wants Yello videos in Australia: I saw a copy of "Essential"
and "The Yello Video Show" at Red Eye Records if anyone wants them (and
I think you should :-) ). (Too bad if you're in Perth - it's a bit of a
long walk. :-( )

It just occurred to me: that as the description of a highly
sophisticated technological achievement, "Avon's gadget
works" seems to lack a certain style.
