  33. MMS      JUNE "How Does Your Garden Grow" SOAP EXCHANGE-

  35. WHO:     All you gardeners out there, this is the swap for you. This 
  36. is our fourth soap exchange and
  37.               all of us here at  MMS are having a blast.  You've never 
  38. seen grown women get so excited
  39.               to greet the mailman, I honestly think we scare him to 
  40. death. So what do you say, start
  41.               those creative juices flowing and join us in June. I 
  42. promise you  won't regret you did.
  43.  
  44. THEME:  "How Does Your Garden Grow" will be this month's theme. I 
  45. chose this theme in honor
  46.                 of my grandfather, who was a craftsman, artist and 
  47. gardener like none other.  My
  48.     grandfather's garden is one of the most magnificent of my childhood
  49.                memories.  Sometimes I can still close my eyes and 
  50. imagine I'm back among the serene
  51.                surroundings that brought my summers to life. I hope 
  52. this swap will inspire all of you to
  53.                pay tribute to your own special garden, wherever it may be.
  54.  
  55. WHAT:    Each participant will need to send eight bars of soap along with the
  56.                recipe for their creations. (Recipes are not required 
  57. but they really add
  58.                to the fun of the whole swap experience.)  A booklet 
  59. will be put together
  60.                for each member containing recipes from each 
  61. participant.  Please send your
  62.                mailing address and recipe via email so I can just 
  63. format away! <G>
  64.     A check or money order in the amount of $4.00 in U.S funds 
  65. must also be included in each
  66.     box. This money will be used to cover the shipping costs on your return packages.  To
  67.     ensure this amount will cover shipping cost let's keep soap 
  68. sizes in the range of 2-4
  69.     ounces per bar, please don't exceed 4 ounces.

  71. WHEN:   This swap will run for the month of June, all soaps will need to
  72.                 be to me by the 26th of June.  I will get booklets 
  73. ready and ship the boxes back
  74.                 out by the first week in July.

  82. WHY:     This will be the fourth MMS Swap and they just keep getting 
  83. bigger and better.
  84.                Each month we try to come up with an original theme to 
  85. keep things exciting.  At the end
  86.                of each swap I will choose one or two people whose 
  87. soaps best represented the theme for
  88.               that particular month.  The winner will be featured 
  89. through the following month on our new
  90.               "Let's Swap Soap Page",  plus they'll receive a MMS gift 
  91. certificate to insure they'll be
  92.                able to keep their addiction going.  (for the next 
  93. swap, of course).
