  5. MMS  "SPRING-SCENTSATIONS" SOAP EXCHANGE-

  7. WHO:    If you're a hopeless soap-aholic or just getting the basics down,
  8.              you'll want to come join us for this swap. We'll be trading
  9. soaps,
  10.              sharing formulas & just plain talking  soap via the MMS Soap
  11. List.  Come join us!
  12.  
  13. THEME:  "Spring Scentsations" will be this month's theme.  Spring always
  14.                reminds me of new beginnings, out with the old and in with
  15. the new.  The most
  16.                creative scent and color blend will be sure to take the
  17. prize home in this month's swap.
  18.  
  19. WHAT:    Each participant will need to send eight bars of soap along with the
  20.               recipe for their creations. (Recipes are not required but
  21. they really add to the
  22.               fun of the whole swap experience.)  Please just send one copy
  23. of your recipe.  A
  24.               booklet will be put together for each member containing
  25. recipes from each participant.
  26.               Please send your recipe via email.   Then I can just format
  27. away! <G>
  28.               I will also include a small surprise of my own.  A check or
  29. money order in the amount of
  30.               $4.00 in U.S funds must also be included in each box. This
  31. money will be used to cover the
  32.               shipping costs on your return packages.  To ensure this
  33. amount will cover shipping costs
  34.               let's keep soap sizes in the range of 2-4 ounces per bar,
  35. please don't exceed 4 ounces.

  37. WHEN:   This swap will run for the month of April, all soaps will need to
  38. be to me by the 25th
  39.                of April.  I will get booklets ready and ship the boxes back
  40. out by May 1st.

  48. WHY:     I really think this will be a great way for us all to get
  49.              acquainted and and learn from each other.  At the end of each

  53.              featured thru the following month on our new "Let's Swap Soap
  54. Page" plus they'll receive a
  55.              MMS gift certificate to insure they'll be able to keep their
  56. addiction going.  (for the
  57.              next swap). It will be tons of good squeaky clean fun.

  88.  
  89. First, I wanted to thank everyone who joined us in the April Soap 
  90. Exchanges, your soaps were incredible.  Second, I wanted to let 
  91. everyone know, Congrats are in order for the winner of the April Soap 
  92. Exchange. Pamela Seay sent in "Citrus Blossom" as her "Sring 
  93. Scentsation. Pam's version of Citrus Blossom is a killer combination 
  94. of sweet orange and ylang-ylang essentials, accented with just the 
  95. right amount of powdered chamomile.  Pam will be featured along with 
  96. her soap and recipe on our upcoming "Let's Swap Soap" page which is 
  97. currently under construction.

  133.                 were known for making tiny fragrant bouquets to make 
  134. their stroll along the
  135.                 streets more aromatically pleasing. Today we use this 
  136. charming formula to convey
  137.                 heartfelt wishes to friends and family.  I have always 
  138. loved the lore behind Tussie
  139.                 Mussies  so when I was trying to come up with a theme 
  140. that would provide an interesting
  141.                 twist for this months swap, this seemed fitting. For 
  142. those of you  not familiar with
  143.                 tussie mussie's they were often made up of a variety 
  144. of cottage flowers, herbs and rose
  145.                 buds.
  146.

  311. Sorry, I just realized my mistake, well alright I was reminded by 
  312. Linda.  Thanks Linda....  Pam Seay was the winner of the March 
  313. Exchange. The winner of the April "Spring Scentsations" Exchange 
  314. (which is still underway) has not yet been determined.
