  36.    I just subbed on to this list after having discovered Roswell this
  37. evening....sort of funny...:) I got hooked like, immediately.:) 
  38.    I'm in Singapore, where they just showed "The Toy House" I
  39. think....i was frantically looking through the episode guides to find
  40. out how much I have missed....
  41.     Are there any other Singaporeans on this list? I would lvoe to
  42. watch earlier episodes of Roswell...coz while watching it took me a
  43. while to figure out that Michael, Max and isabel were aliens...:)
  44. actually I admit all I could think about at first was "the guy who
  45. plays Michael is gorgeous!"...:)
  46.      Well, looking forward to learning more about this show...it looks

  90. well, as for her being tiny..she's only 5'2"...and for the fear...in the Teen 
  91. article she wrote, she explains that that day was to help her get over some 
  92. fears...when she was 6, a neighbor's dog bit her over the left eye (that's 
  93. why she has the scar) and she's had a bit of a fear ever since

  238. I suspect that next week wil have good ratings so don't get too down. The 
  239. reason for this is that N'Sync's Lance Bass is going to be on 7th Heaven. You 
  240. know how popular that group is so you can be sure that millions of people 
  241. will be tuned into the show. Hopefully, most of them will keep the channel on 
  242. after the show an watch Roswell. Anything to save our show!

  270. Like I wrote before, Roswell was an excellent show on Wednesdays..
  271. They moved it to Mondays, I guess to get a better share of audience.... or 
  272. to kill the show off. When they moved it to Mondays, the show seems to have 
  273. changed in it pace...
  274. I liked the pace before, but the last two eppies on Monday, has been so 
  275. wonderful!

  314. I think the ratings were a bit low because Roswell wasn't shown in a few 
  315. places. It was preempted by some sporting events. I'm pretty sure I read that 
  316. last Monday's episode is going to be shown on Saturday for those who missed 
  317. it. So actually, those ratings are good considering.

  319. Hopefully, the WB knows about this and take it into account.

  348. I think the little guy loss a "gecko". This was one of the saddest episodes.
  349. The woman loss her golden retriever too. Shiri was doing some sort of
  350. journal, which was fitting since her character keeps one on the show. I
  351. wonder if Shiri's practice of keeping a journal had any influence on her
  352. character keeping one. I've been keeping one since I was five years old,
  353. though now I keep it on my laptop.

  515. the highest. On the other hand, when Monday nights have particular good
  516. shows, I look forward to Mondays. I found a new habit of my own to watch
  517. taped episodes on Fridays since nothing else is on like tonight. What, do
  518. they think everyone is out on dates?? :)

  938. he would not have a problem doing that.  Or was that just in her journal?  I

  1034. Well, I just can't say enough about how I'm loving the new direction =
  1035. that the show is taking. The last three episodes have been so =
  1036. suspenseful and well written and the thought of the WB cancelling the =
  1037. show gets more ludicrous by the week. I can only hope that they've =
  1038. watched these last three episodes closely to see how the initial sci-fi =
  1039. aspects have intensified. Having said that, another good episode. I have =
  1040. to admit that I found some plot lines slightly confusing, but I did like =
  1041. that the story arc has been moved along and that some questions are =
  1042. starting to get answered. Here are some thoughts and observations:
  1043.  
  1044. 1) Michael and Isabel: Well, I have to admit that at first there was a =
  1045. very high ick factor in my mind about this coupling. To me, Isabel and =
  1046. Michael might as well be brother and sister. But then I saw them =
  1047. together, both in "reality" and in the dream plane tonight, and I have =
  1048. to say that there is a certain...something there. I don't know if it's =
  1049. chemistry or not but there is certainly a nice rapport between the =
  1050. two.There's an easiness to their togetherness that I like. Now don't get =
  1051. me wrong. I'm not saying they should be a couple, but the thought is =
  1052. less heinous to me now. I will now duck from the rocks thrown at me from =
  1053. the Candygirls ;) I am slightly confused about their "pregnancy" dream =
  1054. but that's later.
  1055.  
  1056. 2) The notion of destiny versus fate again: I'm sorry to beat a dead =
  1057. horse here but I am really loving what the writers are doing here by =
  1058. pinning destiny and fate against each other. From what I gleaned from =
  1059. tonight's episode, Tess is implying that she is Max's destiny. That =
  1060. somehow, they are "meant" to be together. Though, I'm not a big fan of =
  1061. Emilie's acting, I do like how she's mixed up the pot a bit. Since the =
  1062. inception of the show, we've been led to believe that Max and Liz are =
  1063. soulmates( a thought that I still hold on to). It's fascinating that the =
  1064. writers have now decided to sort of pull the rug out from under us and =
  1065. challenge that completely. Yes, he's "loved" her since the 3rd grade but =
  1066. are they supposed to be together? I got a lot of great responses from =
  1067. you last time that fate and love can change destiny in the blink of an =
  1068. eye, but I guess my question is, when does destiny become fate and vice =
  1069. versa then? Who's to say that Max wasn't supposed to save Liz and then =
  1070. she and Max weren't supposed to be together? Couldn't the shooting have =
  1071. been destiny? Couldn't it have been in the plan?=20
  1072.  
  1073. 3) Tess versus Liz: As an extension of the destiny/fate discussion, I =
  1074. love how diametrically different Liz and Tess are feeling right now =
  1075. about how things are supposed to be. According to Liz, "You are who you =
  1076. choose to be. You're with who you choose to be with" while Tess feels =
  1077. that Max must be with her because it was ordained in some way. It was =
  1078. really interesting to see these two women, trying desperately to =
  1079. rationalize what was going on inside of Max. It was really quite sad =
  1080. though to see how they are both clinging to the hope that Max will =
  1081. realize who his true soulmate is, while Max is like a deer caught in the =
  1082. headlights.
  1083.  
  1084. 4) Aliens vs. Humans: I thought that tonight's episode really broke down =
  1085. what is inherently wrong with the Max and Michael relationship. Now more =
  1086. than ever, I feel as if these two guys would never even speak to each =
  1087. other had it not been for their shared alien ancestry. Max has embraced =
  1088. his "human" side and is somewhat apprehensive of learning more about his =
  1089. "alien" side. Michael is the complete opposite, constantly feeling alien =
  1090. and alienated. Their confrontation in the kitchen, with both accusing =
  1091. the other of being afraid to be who they really are was intense and =
  1092. revealing. Neither one trusts the other right now. Secrets are being =
  1093. kept and lies being told. There really is no middle ground for them. =
  1094. It's either do it my way or no way. I look forward to seeing how they =
  1095. can get back to being as close as they once were, if it is possible at =
  1096. this point.
  1097.  
  1098. 5) The relationships in Roswell:=20
  1099. A) Max and Liz: This couple, as of now, is in trouble. Though it kills =
  1100. me to say that, it's true. It's sort of like they're both in emotional =
  1101. limbo and they have no idea how to get out of it. How sad was it when =
  1102. Liz asked Max what it was like to kiss Tess? Though she's trying not to, =
  1103. she's starting to doubt Max and she's starting to doubt herself in =
  1104. subtle ways. It hurts to see them this way simply because they had =
  1105. finally found some semblance of normalcy.
  1106. B) Michael and Maria and Alex and Isabel: I am putting these two couples =
  1107. together because I found them both really disturbing tonight. While I'm =
  1108. glad that Isabel finally made the move on Alex and Michael finally said =
  1109. the "r" word with Maria, I would have hoped that these actions would =
  1110. have been prompted by the undying dedication and devotion that Maria and =
  1111. Alex have shown and not out of fear or confusion about their dreams. I =
  1112. just wanted them to be less "used." Alex and Maria have proven how much =
  1113. they care for their aliens and yet it takes a couple of dreams to prompt =
  1114. Michael and Isabel into action? I would have definetly preferred to see =
  1115. this done differently.
  1116. C) Max and Tess: I swear, I don't know if it's because they haven't =
  1117. worked together for very long but I feel nothing when they're on the =
  1118. screen together. I hated their big confrontation scene by the rock =
  1119. formation. This is one couple that really lacks chemistry. I don't feel =
  1120. as if they have this primordial connection. I don't feel as if they =
  1121. belong together. This is really making that storyline ring very hollow =
  1122. for me.=20
  1123.  
  1124. 6)Favorite Scene: The Crashdown Cafe scene where Liz revealed  to Max =
  1125. that she was scared of Tess. I loved the way Max said, "So am I" when =
  1126. Liz disgustedly said, "She's[Tess]an alien, Max" . Max looked so wounded =
  1127. and hurt in that moment and it seemed that for the first time, Liz was =
  1128. actually regrettting getting involved with an alien.=20
  1129.  
  1130. 7) This mysterious "pregnancy": This to me was the most difficult leap =
  1131. in logic. It's bizarre to me that based on one dream, Isabel would think =
  1132. that she was pregnant with Michael's child. My first instinct would have =
  1133. been that the dream was premonitory. I really don't know what to think =
  1134. of this one yet. Would love to hear from you guys about this because it =
  1135. has me completely befuddled.
  1136.  
  1137. 8) The anti-climatic ending?: Did anyone else feel that the ending =
  1138. wasn't nearly as dramatic as it could have been. I kinda felt that the =
  1139. big reveal wasn't nearly as big as it was supposed to be. Though I felt =
  1140. slightly bad for Tess that she was left behind by the other three =
  1141. aliens, I didn't really feel anything even close to remorse. Again, this =
  1142. could be because I don't feel as if Tess has ingratiated herself to the =
  1143. group in any real emotional way. Not sure about this.
  1144.  
  1145. Some minor thoughts:=20
  1146. A) How great was Kyle tonight? Nick HAS to get more screen time!! "Can't =
  1147. beat a blonde" He's so funny :)
  1148. B) Trust Valenti Dammit!!! He's more than proven to me that he's a =
  1149. worthy ally. It's about time they start trusting someone because the =
  1150. aliens need help.
  1151. C)Is anyone catching the lesbian undertones that permeate the Isabel and =
  1152. Tess scenes? What's up with that?

  1246. Emilie's acting, I do like how she's mixed up the pot a bit. Since the =

  1248. of the show, we've been led to believe that Max and Liz are soulmates( a =

  1250. that I still hold on to). It's fascinating that the writers have now =

  1252. sort of pull the rug out from under us and challenge that completely. =

  1254. "loved" her since the 3rd grade but are they supposed to be =

  1256. I got a lot of great responses from you last time that fate and love can =

  1258. destiny in the blink of an eye, but I guess my question is, when does =

  1260. become fate and vice versa then? Who's to say that Max wasn't supposed =

  1262. Liz and then she and Max weren't supposed to be together? Couldn't the =

  1264. have been destiny? Couldn't it have been in the plan? </FONT></DIV>

  1279. see how they are both clinging to the hope that Max will realize who his =
  1280. true=20
  1281. soulmate is, while Max is like a deer caught in the =

  1288. Michael relationship. Now more than ever, I feel as if these two guys =

  1290. never even speak to each other had it not been for their shared alien =

  1292. Max has embraced his "human" side and is somewhat apprehensive =

  1294. learning more about his "alien" side. Michael is the complete=20
  1295. opposite, constantly feeling alien and alienated. Their confrontation in =
  1296. the=20
  1297. kitchen, with both accusing the other of being afraid to be who they =
  1298. really are=20
  1299. was intense and revealing. Neither one trusts the other right now. =
  1300. Secrets are=20
  1301. being kept and lies being told. There really is no middle ground for =
  1302. them. It's=20
  1303. either do it my way or no way. I look forward to seeing how they can get =
  1304. back to=20
  1305. being as close as they once were, if it is possible at this =

  1314. idea how to get out of it. How sad was it when Liz asked Max what it was =

  1316. kiss Tess? Though she's trying not to, she's starting to doubt Max and =

  1318. starting to doubt herself in subtle ways. It hurts to see them this way =
