  55. i agree--it definitely puts an interesting spin on things!  however, i'm 
  56. sticking to my original (revised) feeling on this story--while at first 
  57. i was full of righteous indignation on aj's behalf (when carly first 
  58. named jason as the father), now i'm just hoping he doesn't find out for 
  59. a good long time, because i'm loving jason as daddy just WAY too much!  
  60. besides, aj doesn't DESERVE this child the way he's been acting...

  345. I heard he's naming the baby Michael Robert Morgan.  So he will get both
  346. names and they'll call him Robert, or some version of that.  Jason's not
  347. going to call him Michael, I don't think.  Someone suggested that he
  348. chose Michael but is going to call him Bobby because it would be awkward
  349. and confusing to call him Michael.

  457. tears to my eyes.  Wonder, love, hope, fear, all bundled together.  I'm
  458. still choked up.

  558.    Although GH's Carly returns to Port Charles during Michael's christening,
  559. she is still suffering from the postpartum depression that made her leave
  560. town shortly after his birth. When Jason tries to include Carly in the
  561. christening ceremony, she refuses (Carly does intercede on behalf of the
  562. Quartermaines, who have not been invited to the reception, however), and is
  563. unable to even touch the boy. Bobbie, on the other hand, has bonded with the
  564. baby, and despite the rancor that has marked the two women's relationship
  565. since Tony left Bobbie for Carly, Bobbie desperately wants to help Carly
  566. overcome her fear of motherhood.
  567.    Carly doesn't respond well to Bobbie's interference, and once again lays
  568. into her about having given up her own child at birth. Carly's attack makes
  569. Bobbie furious, and she uses the opportunity to set the record straight. Her
  570. words strike a chord in Carly, who decides that she wants to hold her child.
  571. She and Bobbie go to Jason's apartment and, with her son in her arms, Carly
  572. finally tells Bobbie that she is her daughter.

  575.   Sarah Brown's Pregnancy Surprise Hits GH
  576.  
  577.    More real-life baby news has hit General Hospital. Sarah Brown (Carly)
  578. and her fiancΘ, film executive Shuki Levy, are expecting a child this
  579. summer. The two became officially engaged in Paris last Bastille Day, July
  580. 14. Levy gave the Emmy-winning actress a beautiful (and impressive) diamond
  581. ring while on their hotel balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower as fireworks
  582. exploded in the background.
  583.    Brown announced her pregnancy when she returned to the set the second
  584. week in January after a more than four-week break (to travel around the
  585. world to film a movie with Levy). Because her character had a baby of her
  586. own at the start of the year, it will be close to impossible to work the
  587. pregnancy into her storyline.
  588.    Like her GH co-star Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis), who is expecting her first
  589. child in the early spring, strategic camera angles, properly draped clothing
  590. and carefully crafted stage blocking will help to conceal her condition. And
  591. although Carly has already had her baby, now you'll see Brown herself get
  592. that maternal glow.

  597.   FEBRUARY SWEEPS!!
  598. The dynamic between Lucky and Elizabeth is altered dramatically when he
  599. helps her through a personal crisis. Lizzie's situation forces Luke to face
  600. the darkest truth about his past.
  601. A surprising ally helps Nikolas with his recovery.
  602. When Carly has trouble bonding with her son, Bobbie intercedes. This spurs
  603. Carly finally to reveal that Bobbie is her mother. The revelation causes a
  604. major fallout for Bobbie, Carly, Luke and Tony.
  605. Brenda realizes that being with Jax will make her happy, but the choice may
  606. no longer be hers.
  607. Alan's addiction forces him to take desperate measures that may be his
  608. undoing.
  609. Mac and Felicia turn the tables on Tess to discover her motives. The trail
  610. leads them to a well-known Port Charles resident.
  611. Helena begins using Katherine against Stefan in order to gain control of the
  612. Cassadine empire.
  613. Jason is forced to confront his life choices when his involvement with Carly

  644. Steve's been doing a wonderful job with this.  And, as much
  645. as I generally like Robin as a character, the interaction
  646. between Jason and the baby is the reason I've just wanted
  647. to smack her of late.  I realize that for her, it's a moral
  648. question--A. J. ought to know that he is the father.  But
  649. she, who has criticized people for underestimating Jason,
  650. doesn't seem to have a clue as to his emotional bond with
  651. the baby.  I don't think she's even considered that it's
  652. become more than simply doing a favor for Carly to Jason.
  653.  
  654. Marino was interesting; have we seen him before?
  655.  
  656. And I loved the look on Mike's face when Jason announced
  657. the name <g>.

  659. My week would be complete if Carly stood up there and
  660. announced that the baby's middle name would be Spencer,
  661. after her maternal family <veg>.  But the chances of that
  662. happening are slim....

  913. if I was in their PLACE OF WORSHIP I would at least show a little respect and

  1100.    They say that one good turn deserves another, and you would think that is
  1101. the case when Carly decides to tell Bobbie the truth about her paternity,

  1103. son. But the consequences of Carly's honesty will rock the house of Spencer
  1104. and Jones in the form of Bobbie, Carly, Luke and Tony.

  1129. When Carly appears at the church during her son's christening, she is still
  1130. in the throes of her postpartum depression. Despite Jason's urging, Carly
  1131. refuses to participate in the ceremony or even touch her won. However, she
  1132. does intercede for the Quartermaines, despite Jason insistence that they not
  1133. be included.
  1134.  
  1135. Despite Carly's inability to bond with her son, Bobbie's own bonding spurs
  1136. her own to help Carly deal with the new role of motherhood ... an effort
  1137. that does not sit well with Carly. Once again, Carly's own bitterness comes
  1138. to the surface as she chastises Bobbie for giving her own child up at birth.
  1139. This attack urges Bobbie to finally "set the record straight," and what she
  1140. says is the key to opening up Carly's heart to accept her son in her life.
  1141. Both women go to Jason's apartment to see the baby, and as Carly cradles her
  1142. son in her arms she finally confesses the truth to Bobbie, and tells her
  1143. that she is her biological daughter.

  1149. Carly's back and Bobbie's got her ... little knowing she's trying to help
  1150. her daughter bond to her grandson.  Two years ago Guza started laying the
  1151. groundwork in the Carly as Bobbie's daughter storyline.   While fans have
  1152. been frustrated that this secret has taken so long to come to light, Guza is
  1153. thrilled it waited until his return so he could bring this story to
  1154. fruition.

  1156. Determined not to be like Bobbie, and abandon her child, Carly returns to
  1157. Port Charles.   However, postpartum depression still has a firm grip on
  1158. Carly who finds herself afraid to hold her son.  One the one hand, Carly
  1159. doesn't want to abandon her son like she felt she was abandoned, o the other
  1160. hand, she feels she hurts everyone who gets near her and fears she'll screw
  1161. up her child. Bobbie tries to help, unaware that Carly is still struggling
  1162. with depression. Between Bobbie's encouragement and Monica's disdain,
  1163. Carly's insecurity gets the best of her.  When Carly lashes out at Bobbie,
  1164. she again brings up the fact that Bobbie gave her baby away, Bobbie tells
  1165. Carly  exactly how she felt about loving a child enough to do what is in
  1166. their best interest.  Bobbie and Carly bond, and Bobbie is able to convey
  1167. the magic of holding your child for the first time.   Since Michael is at
  1168. the Port Charles Hotel with Jason, Bobbie agrees to take Carly to her her
  1169. son unaware that Virginia Benson has come to town to meet her "phone friend"
  1170. Bobbie.

  1266. far out of line on this one it isn't even funny.  first of all, for all 
  1267. her talk that she doesn't see jason as brain-damaged, she's sure doing a

  1331. i thought it was odd the spoilers would be wrong on that too...although 
  1332. they very clearly led up to jason's decision for AGES ahead of time, so 
  1333. i definitely saw it coming by friday.  but i think you're probably 
  1334. right, that it will end up being something like michael robert and 
  1335. they'll call him robert or some verson thereof.  maybe mama carly will 
  1336. even have an opinion on the subject!  :)  it's possible that between her 
  1337. supposed last name of roberts, and grandma bobbie, she'll come up with 
  1338. the robert part.  who knows.
