  5. All you ProPinall enthusiasts I have some good news to report. I spoke to
  6. Stephen Wickes, Technical Manager at Empire Interactive (US) on Wednesday 1
  7. December 1999. He reports that they are tentatively anticipating the US
  8. release of the PC version of ProPinball#4 Fantastic Journey the first week of
  9. January 2000. They are also anticipating the release of a playable PC version
  10. demo just before Christmas. Stephens Wickes reports that you can pre-order a
  11. copy of the PC version of ProPinball#4 Fantastic Journey for $24.95 by
  12. contacting Empire Interactive at 1 (800) 216-9706 and asking for Stephen
  13. Wickes. You may also obtain additional information concerning ProPinball#4
  14. Fantastic Journey via E-Mail by writing Empire Interactive (US) at
  15. info@empire-us.com. I am also very sorry to report that during my conversation
  16. with Stephen Wickes, he stated that ProPinball#4 Fantastic Journey would be
  17. the last and final release in the ProPinball series. Maybe if all the
  18. ProPinball enthusiasts of the world would contact the folks at Empire
  19. Interactive we can convince the fine folks that we want them to continue the
  20. outstanding ProPinball series before the Cunning Developments Team is
  21. disbanded.

  69. Hi everybody,

  71. Do any of you remember a great '80s arcade game called Star Castle?  It was
  72. one of my favorites.  You drove a little spaceship around the screen and
  73. tried to shoot the large ship in the middle, which was surrounded by energy
  74. rings.  Little energy "bombs" broke off from the rings and chased you; and
  75. when enough rings were destroyed, the large ship started firing at you,
  76. too.  When you succeeded in hitting the large ship, you were rewarded with
  77. a huge implosion and explosion.

  79. Of course, now we can play the original Star Castle with an arcade-game
  80. emulator.  However, a guy named Mark Sachs has just released his updated
  81. version of Star Castle for the PC, and it's worth downloading.  The play
  82. area is larger, the enemies are smarter, the explosions are bigger, and you
  83. can set the difficulty level.  The sounds are great, too -- they're
  84. enhanced versions of the originals.
