Speaking of the firing range, has anyone gone ahead and gotten every
single medal for every single weapon yet? Most of the training sessions are
pretty easy, and I've beaten every one for the weapons I currently have
except for one. That one is the K7 Avenger Gold Medal one, where you need
500 points and 100% accuracy with only 20 seconds and moving target. If
theres like, some sort of strategy that you have to use, it would be totally
great. Trying to keep 100% accuracy makes me shoot too slow for the 20
seconds, and sometimes the bullets stray from where they're supposed to make
their mark, making you automatically lose. Its nerve racking I tell ya!

The background sounds are very well done for the level of the game. The
first few levels don't have very much background sounds, i.e. the screams of
the people that see you and call for backup or run around in circles or run
away or whatever. Right now the Chicago stage takes the cake for the
background sounds (Mainly because thats the furthest I'm at)

Do any of you think that the AI in the game is a little too good? I sort
of expected a more stealthier game, but I always seem to end up getting
spotted by one guard or another, even when I'm hiding around in the shadows.
They really have a great reaction time. Too great for me. For example, that
one stage where the lights are out and you have to shoot your way to the top
of the helipad. You're in pitch blackness and they can still see you! And
with Cassandra's bodyguards, where the lights go out again, and there is no
visible devices on their faces, its just frustrating. It feels like I'm
always having to shoot things up when I want to go the other way around.

I wish they did. It would be easier to sneak around inside buildings if
that happened. I can't turn a corner and peek out my gun without getting
seen. Depending on the situation, they'll run away, call for help, both, or
just start shooting at you. Since I'm playing at Agent level, they're pretty
poor at shooting me, but I'll expect much different when I play the tougher
levels.

Dontcha just hate it when the bad guys do that to you? Its even worse
when you're playing a friend in multiplayer. We end up slapping each other
silly, our screens looking like we're in a hippie dream and we keep disarming
each other so we can't pull out a decent gun to kill the other! The other
bad part is that when you're in your little "hippie dream" and you die,
you're still experiencing the dream the next life up.

Yeah, it takes a little while to get used to the punching. My friend and I ended
up laughing ourselves silly last night. Though have you tried using the PeaceSim
in multi. We thought it would be easy weapons since he just goes around the
level collecting them, then you shoot him and pick up everything he got. But no,
it turned into us just getting a weapon and him running up and disarming us. It
got to be pretty frustrating. However, that was in Area 52, which is pretty
small, as the multiplayer levels go. When we used the Challenges to unlock the
later levels, like the warehouse, that has more levels and is bigger, we found
ourselves using our weapons more and punching less.

Oh hell yeah....I have a pretty nice Dolby Digital 5.1 set-up (with 2
powered subs for that extra oomph....damn I love DVDs :) As for Perfect
Dark...I got it from ebworld (with my free N64 pouch) but it is still
wrapped in the shrink wrap. I am still working my way through Wild Arms 2
and don't to set it aside...so I plan to start PD after I finish WA....but
you have me wondering about the surround now. BTW, WA2 kicks ass. The
reviews on the game have been so-so...but most of the people have bashed it
for it's graphics...saying that people who are more used to all the
cinematics of most of todays RPGs might be turned off by WA2's graphics.
But to me, I love it...it plays just like a classic 16-bit RPG.

That's what he means, but they are still separate games. Like Red & Blue you
can't collect every Chopokomon with just one cart, so that makes them
different. The Five billion number for the combined amount sold between two
different games is what is called in marketing as a "lie."

I think they announced it for August in Japan. It probably won't be a
mainstream success in Japan since FPS aren't all that popular there. FPS
emerged from PC games in the USA, and PC games are not popular in Japan.

I'd say slim. I don't think Japan cares to much for First Person Shooters.
Unless there's a big head code, with a baseball mode in it.

Down 35%? But what about Chopokomon? There really needs to be a real
Chopokomon game on the N64.

I just read the funniest thing today. It was in IGN64's N-Query. The PS2
Wiseman says, "PS2 software so 'unreal' it look like it running on a PC."
Oh, I did notice some aliasing on the Dreamcast yesterday. I some in the car
select screen on Speed Devils and Mitsurugi's sword gets a bit jaggy on one
of his victory poses. I must chuck my Dreamcast out the window now.

Playing with a friend in co-op is so incredible. Whether you play
strategically or split up it is so much fun. Highly recommended. I agree
the framerate issues didn't affect me too much.

Yeah the funniest one is when you shoot a guy and he says "Is that a
bullet?" LOL LOL

Both totaled, since they're pretty much the same game.
