Finally! I was waiting for someone to comment on the deep spiritual meanings of
the movie! I found the Matrix to be a very deep and brooding movie, with
profound implications of war with computers! I find the idea alot more
plausible than Terminator. Please, Linda Hamilton has her place, but come on!
The matrix was thought provoking, but you must see it atleast twice to grasp its
full meaning and double entendras. ]

HEY UMFALKCE! I'M WITH YOU...from this morning musings, I thought
that I was the only one out there who thought that Matrix was cool.
The implication that we could be living in a computer generated world
was mind blowing. As in the movie, unless you left the Matrix, how
would you know? And L. Fishburn was great. I'd leave the Matrix for
him :)

The scariest movie for me was A Clockwork Orange. For some reason, it keeps me up, i can't sleep after i watch it. Is anyone else that way about the movie?

Subject: [MV] American Beauty review
American Beauty is a wonderful piece of film. Being a "film buff" I see
many movies so I enjoy when a movie shows me something I've never seen or
makes me feel different than any other movie I've ever seen. This movie
does both of these things. It is a crazy emotional car chase of a movie
(though no actual car chases occur) in which we go through feelings of anger
to pity to happiness to disgust to ... etc ... It is very difficult to
recommend everyone to see American Beauty as there are many issues which are
harrowing or difficult to watch. This was a movie in which I laughed almost
all the way through it though no one else in the theatre was laughing (don't
worry - I wasn't a Robert DeNiro from Cape Fear laugher:-) Annette Benning
honestly gives her best performance and Kevin Spacey is his usual best. All
the characters were extremely interesting and I wanted to know more about
each one though many times we were only offered a glimpse of them and no pat
explanations as to why they may act a certain way. I also found this movie
to be very empowering - there is a message in this movie and that is to make
something out of your life before you can't realise that you didn't. I
laughed, I cried and I rate it a 95%.
The 'If I Won $10 in a Lottery and Went to See a Movie What Would I See'
list:
Run Lola Run 96% (hurry it won't be around much longer!)
American Beauty 95%
Deep Blue Sea 87%
Best Laid Plans 86%
The Sixth Sense 86%
