So far i've only heard to tracks, "at least we tried" and "the great
escape". But both these reminds me VERY much of the band "this mortal
coil", a project runned/produced by the labelbosses from 4ad (an UK indie
label) and performed by different constellations between the original 4ad
groups (pixies, cocteau twins, dead can dance etc).
BTW: Sounding like "this mortal coil" is not a bad thing to
do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Play seemed like a concept album to me and I enjoyed it, I didn't think
it was something that needed to be pursued again on a new album though.
It's almost like now he has become more of an arranger than a musician.
