What does an old Moby remix from 1992 do on a brand new soundtrack? This
world is getting crazier and crazier.. I don't know if there are any other
good tracks on it, but if there are, give it a listen, the Moby mix is
pretty cool in a weird twisted techno banging dub reggae kind of way :) Nice
to see you post again Paul, we've missed you :P

Subject: (mobility) Moby productivity stats
I've entered my whole Moby collection into Excell and came up with these
stats which I think are also representative for Moby's discography since my
collection is quite extensive. The number behind the year is the total
number of releases (singles+albums+remixes for others) of that year:
1990: 01
1991: 32
1992: 64
1993: 10
1994: 23
1995: 41
1996: 20
1997: 20
1998: 14
1999: 26
2000: 42
2001: 02
Now I must say that this is not 100% fair, albums count just as heavy as
remixes, the main reason 1992 is such a productive year is because of the
enormous ammount of remixes Moby made for other artists that year.
Play related: (1998-2001): 84
EIW related: (1994-1995): 64
- - Almost everything after 1999 is milking stuff from Play, Play should be
milked dry now, looking at the stats :)

Subject: (mobility) Moby cover magazine
Hello,
Does anyone have a magazine that came out last year in which moby is on the
cover with his hands clasped in front of his face like he's praying? I
want to paint it, does anyone have it somewhere? could they scan it for me?
or anything??
:>
Thanks please let me know

I'm not too keen on giving out personal info either. Maybe later when
I'm in a better mood and have nothing to do (good luck anyway MOBY).
As for Muhammad Ali (the Faithless track), I love it. It's great!
The only song that jumps out at me that I dislike is "If Loving You Is
Wrong"

I think the signed cd (be it authentic) would have made a nice gift. then it
would be special, for someone, who couldn't get close to Moby, to have
something that was touched by him given to them.
There was a time I tried to get near Moby, but his presence was so intense, I
thought it would consume me. I ran, crying with the rain. Panic attacks are
awful.

Subject: (mobility) Cool thing to do
You know what's cool to do? If you have a mix program for mp3s, or like me a
plugin for winamp, try this:
Put on The brotherhood - Time's Up.mp3 and set the tempo to +60% and the
pitch to +0.08 octaves, You'll get a great jungle / 2 step track with speedy
Craig David like vocals :) pretty cool for the Dj's among us..
